I really do not agree with this. They really haven't looked at the server list in a while. I checked earlier today, and there was only one GvH server, and it had only 8 people. I do not think this is within their rights to take GvH away, even for a day.

I may or may not edit this post in the future to elaborate more on it.

Eh, I guess I might as well post an idea I've had for a while. Here's a very, very scary Ghoul idea. I should warn you though, this can scar you for life...


You think you've seen the worst there is. You think you've seen all the Pokémon in Kanto. You've braved all eight gyms, you've beaten the league, you've struggled with the Japanese text, and the only thing left to do is to go catch Metwo in the Unknown Dungeon. Once you've reached the final floor, and a couple steps away from the water, you notice the wild Pokémon sequence starting up. "No problem", you think, "I can take this Rhydon." But you were wrong. Horribly wrong. For what attacked you wasn't a Rhydon. You've heard myths and legends about this monster, but those are just regarded as fairy tales. It mutters it's cry. As you stare in horror, it slowly walks up to you. You try to run, but your legs won't listen. Your life flashes before your eyes as it sucks out your soul with it's small eye. Your corpse lies there, with the exact same face it has.

That's right, the abomination I'm talking about is #40, it's...

This Ghoul has escaped the Unknown Dungeon, and now wanders the Forbidden Forest. It strikes fear into everything that sees it, even the Yurei feared it before her death. It moves slowly, very slowly through the forest, and petrifies it's targets with it's large eye, and slowly closes in. It can endure many hits, but if it gets hurt too much, then it will run away extremely quickly in a bright flash, releasing you from it's gaze. But it will come back faster. If you are unfortunate enough to not be able to hurt this thing before it closes in on you, then you and everyone else frozen will hear it's shrill cry, see it's horrible face as it flashes on your screen, and have your souls sucked out by it's small eye. Should you have enough skill to hit this Ghoul as it gets faster and faster, then it will utter it's awful cry once more, and sink down into the ground, vanquished.

So, yeah, in this topic, you tell us where you came up/got your name from.

I got Robjoe from combining my brother's name (Robert) and my name (Joseph). If you care, the 'full' version of it is Robjoe1107, with those two numbers being how old me and him were when I came up with the name.

hexen rules, i like hexen and hexen deathkings!
i also like heretic and doom (any doom: 1,2,plutonia,tnt) but strife and chex are stupid!

With all due respects, how exactly are they stupid? I could maybe understand thinking Chex Quest is childish at first, but in all honesty, you shouldn't shun it due to the colors and lack of blood. But how is Strife stupid? It is the most advanced Doom-engine IWAD, and it is the most plot involving Doom IWAD, too.

Sorry if I offended anyone here, I just felt the need to say that.

Hmm... Well usually just sitting about on MSN and XFire talking to people and listen to music (unless playing a game). Then usually one or two of the following

Fiddling around in Doom Builder
Watching videos on YouTube
Looking through various Doom Community related Forums
Playing Doom
Playing Touhou

Eh, I voted for Ultimate Doom, I really had much more fun playing that than Doom 2. More 'playful' music, more colorful, and the lack of the oh so broken for Deathmatch gun, the SSG.

Mine is Yuka Kazami from the Touhou series. The actual picture is from Touhou 5: Mystic Square, and it has some pretty funny and laughable art/expressions in it, much unlike most of the other Touhou games. However, I like how some of them look odd/stupid, it makes me laugh in a good way.

I may have other display pictures, like of Aya's Crow (The best, yet most unknown character in all of Touhou!), or various TF2 things...
