If he's ready to fight now, I'd say fight now. Especially if you're willing to fight him.

After playing around with Hard Man, making it so a "lone Magnet missile will take him down" is a bit too much. I mean, sure, he already has a lot of HP to begin with, but due to his slow nature and the homing qualities of the Magnet Missile, it's basically impossible to even play as Hard Man if even one player is using Magnet Man.

I'd say if he isn't ready to fight by the end of YD and SS's match, yes.

That 4 should have been a 5. My bad.

And agreed, this is getting old.

Here's my take on this, we can go on with one of two choices.

1) Either compromise in frags and have the fag count be 8-5 and finish up on a US server. First to get 10 total wins. I honestly don't like this idea.

2) Restart the match. Then play on a US and UK server. Once one person reaches 5 frags, switch to the other. Then combine the total of these two fights and whoever has more wins.

What would it be including llamas then? 10-5?

Alright children. Why don't all try and calm down and work this out like adults.

First off, reading everyone's complaints, I have to wonder why we're getting so worked up over this? Neither YD, Savior, or anyone else is more guilty than anyone else of getting too worked up about this tournament. I understand everyone wants to win, but not everyone can. But what are we getting mad about? A place in the top 8 players for a FREE tournament with nothing more than bragging rights at stake. People are giving up on this tournament, and for good reason. All this drama over a stupid medal?

Now, as for the match at hand, I'm a bit more in agreement with SaviorSword here, in that I say keep the last match scores (8-5 YD in the lead correct?) and finish it out on a US server. Same stage as before though.

However, I am also in agreement with YD that with nothing being stated about llamas, they should be alright. Now it's common courtesy in a duel not to llama someone, risking talking is your own fault, and I can bet in even Cut Man's stage you can camp a spot for 5 seconds to say "Can you stop for a second?"

Obviously this is not my tournament, but with all due respects to StoneFunk, this seems like the best course of action.

Regardless, the first map was a neutral. And this was discussed in the rules. It's Savior's pick.

I'm of the opinion that Llamas are fair game. You're in a 1 on 1 duel. What do you have to say that's so important it can't wait until after the duel?

However, if one player needs to leave for a moment and then return to the fight, I wouldn't accept those as frags, as long as the other player doesn't hold up the match for a long period of time.

And Stonefunk, I say they should do Savior's idea of 5 on US and 5 on EU, then tally those up and see.

Suggestion: Why don't we stop the later-round matches and focus on this round? I know Firestorm wants the tournament run as fast as good competition will allow, but we already have one semifinalist while there are second-round matches (like mine) still yet to be determined.

I'd agree with you, if it weren't for the fact that if we don't get them done now, when will we get them done? In my own opinion, when the opportunity arises, we should do the battles, that way we aren't sitting around forever and then later finding out the two people who have been waiting to do a fight can no longer do it for a while due to scheduling.

Think of it like this. Let's say Brade and MagnetMan just did their fight. MagnetMan won. Now we're ready to fight, be we instead decide to wait for the other side of the bracket. Later, when the other side is caught up, it turns out I have to go on vacation for a week and will not have proper internet to challenge MagnetMan, when instead we could have done the fight sooner.

In the end, everyone is going to have to wait the same amount of time regardless of whether we do fights sooner or later, but we have a better chance of keeping this tournament chugging along if the fights are done as soon as possible.

Found this while checking out posts form another forum game I visit called SRB2. Both were made from DOOM engines, and I enjoy Megaman, so I figured, why not?
You play SRB2? Cool.

I was known as Tailsmastermind over there. I developed Rawk Hawk after re-playing PM: Thousand Year Door and deciding that he was awesome.

Man, those northern brackets are slow as heck. As soon as Magnet and Brade fight, I'm ready to Rawk today. Orange Juice is ready today as well so the southern half will be ready for finals long before.

Get cracking you guys.

Gotta say. Coming to this page and seeing Bomb Man staring back at me gave me a quick laugh.

I tried not to focus too much on art style. While most cards need one, I looked for how well the pun worked with the intended character(s) and if I understood it enough.
