There is a huge difference between being a critic and being a troll, go learn what that is and then maybe I'll listen to what you have to say. I think your own post sums up pretty nicely what I mean.

No, Tsuki, I watched from your point of view.  I saw exactly what you did.  You became infected, jumped up on the ledge and let yourself slide off.  It was clearly very deliberate.  However, even if I were to give you the benefit of the doubt, your attitude is not helping.  I only gave you a 30 minute kick.   However, if you continue this behavior I will make it longer.  I have been more than patient in dealing with your mud slinging.

Yea, that's it.  I want this to grow as a community effort, so as good maps are created they can be added by request of the creator.

Been finding a few bugs though, some a little more serious than others.  May end up releasing a v1b to address these issues....maybe add another map as well.

K, Might as well break the Argument here. So Mess, you made a rule chart for your servers? I'm amazed. But, the rules don't look terrible, and your server's the best for ping. I gotta say, your servers are the best. Though, what made ya post the rules in the first place?

Mostly through playing I came across the same complaints over and over.  Some like the 'racist language' to me is just a duh thing.

So would the Bubble Man spike tower fall under allowed or not allowed? Although it is possible for a zombie to reach the platform, the chances of doing so are very slim when the living get a rapid-fire weapon and/or Star Crash. And there is only one side of the tower that will allow the zombie to fly backwards or climb onto. Even then, they still must clear the spikes and the pit. Does that meet both conditions?

I would say this is no problem since it's part of the normal stage geometry.  The simple rule to apply on all of this I guess is that if CMM is changing something, then you shouldn't abuse it currently.

As for the Roboenza weapon, it's annoying, it's obviously a bug.  I'd say try not to do it, but it's not exactly something I'd kick for since it can happen accidentally....ish.

I think the rule will be this:

Trees and other areas of the like are okay if the two conditions are met:

1.) A zombie CAN climb to where you are.
2.) It is not over a pit.

Granted I still think climbing those trees and towers in crystal man's stage is lame as hell and spits in the face of the spirit of the mode, but whatever, gotta draw the line somewhere.

How's that?

Ok, let us put an end to the argument on Rule #2.  It's staying.  I'm sorry you feel the way you do Tsuki but this is an effort to improve the overall game.  If it proves to be a problem for whatever reason it will change.  For now, it's staying and needs no further discussion.

Now, does anyone have any issues or ideas with other rules?  Thanks

P.S. Vote kicking folks for violating rules is fine in my absence but please use discretion.  Warn people first if possible.

Sorry Tsuki, I don't agree.  If you have problems playing Roboenza because of lag or skill or whatever and you don't want to be a zombie. DON'T-PLAY-ROBOENZA!  That is the game mode you are in and you will play by the rules of the mode.  The excuse that it's not fun for other players is BS.  When you spec, you end the round, that's not fun for anybody.

Lastly, yes, the rules will only apply when I'm around, but it's a place to start.  Besides, I needed this written down so that when someone breaks a rule I can say here are the rules, go read them.

Whoa, so things have finally gotten to the point where you need to hand down the law? What have I been missing?

Not much, really #2 is the one that really gets on people's nerves so I figured I'd just write a complete list of no-no's.

Ok, so I decided to jot down some rules that I'm going to start enforcing on my servers.  Primarily these are things the either bug other players or myself and thus I feel that it needs to be addressed.

1.) No racist or otherwise discriminatory language.  That means no n****r or f****t.  If you want to spout this crap, go play XBL.

2.) If you play Roboenza, you will be a zombie.  Do not spectate because you were chosen to be the lead zombie.  That's game mode, deal with it or go play something else.

3.) No using exploits that were not intended by design, or sanctioned by CMM (Item-1 trap for example is okay).   This includes Gyro canceling and Leaf shield canceling.  If you bound a key to do this, then that's not allowed.

4.) Be respectful to other players. There's a line between joking and outright being hostile.  This is to keep things civil.

5.) Do not abuse level flaws.  Metal man's hole of shame....need I say more? This goes for all game modes, play the damn mode as it's intended or don't play.

6.) SR/40/50 is prohibited - This is effectively a speedhack.  This will earn you a permaban.

7.) Roboenza Only: Do not Item-1 trap survivors.  Come on guys, this is a real dick move, knock it off.

I will kick/ban folks for violating these rules depending on the severity of the offense.  (Kick generally means knock it off, ban means gtfo)

If you disagree with any of these rules I am willing to listen, and I am also willing to expand upon this if need be.

Thank you for your time.

Updated first post.  Also side question:

Should I release this with just 5 maps that are fixed as like v1a before I go for the full 10 or so in V2 or nah just wait till I've got enough?

Travis has given up on MMPICE and is now up for grabs to whoever wants to make it.

Edit: Too late! Messatsu grabbed it.

And Messatsu's finished with it

Save for tweaking and few other items once they're completed.

For my problem, you don't need to get MORE music. Just lower the volume of your current music.
Tis fixed, I'm working with YD to tune up some of the issues like that.
I didn't replace any songs as that's up to YD himself to decide.
