Also, i could have sworn i saw slopes in some of the NES megaman games. My eyes rarely decieve me. Though i merely saw it in the video, i dont know if Megaman actually is programmed to walk up slopes instead of treating them like stairs.Inaccessible/inverted ones from MM1 Wily 2, slopes treated as square platforms in MM2 Wily 1 (first room, egg-like structure outside that small gap) and actual ones in fangames/hack.
megaman 10 had the lamest bosses imo, except for nitroman cause he pops a wheelie into the roommm5gb mars > napalm man
napalmman is cool because he's just a walking pile of weapons on wheels
and stoneman "rocks" HE HE HE

Besides, 8 had stages with the occasional slope... and no, I don't mean just in Frostman and wily1.
Mega Man 2 & 9More so if you mean Airman/Splash Woman, Metal Blade and Wily 1 in particular.
