Also, i could have sworn i saw slopes in some of the NES megaman games. My eyes rarely decieve me. Though i merely saw it in the video, i dont know if Megaman actually is programmed to walk up slopes instead of treating them like stairs.
Inaccessible/inverted ones from MM1 Wily 2, slopes treated as square platforms in MM2 Wily 1 (first room, egg-like structure outside that small gap) and actual ones in fangames/hack.

No more.

Favourite miniboss is that Octobulb thingy (or whatever you call it) from Sheep Man's stage.

Favourite Wily boss is definitely Mettonger Z from MM6 and Block Devil from MM10 excluding blatant ripoffs.

Hyper Bombs bounce downwards, Screw Crushers bounce backwards, Tango makes more amazing stunts, all ground tracking projectiles suddenly have variable velocities blah blah blah.

If it doesn't happen in official maps then fan made maps will still eventually be infested with slopes when everyone is whining 'why can't Mike just implement that in his maps'.

Also inevitable in MM8 'when the time comes'.

So I assume not many of you have played Mega Man IV (GB) right? Power Stone apparently guarantees a hit somewhere and is powerful enough for speedruns.

Problem is, for the NES one, if you have time to plot a Power Stone's route, you will find it doesn't only hit close and distant enemies easily, but it also misses close and distant enemies easily. There lies the divergence: Power Stone only hits enemies at certain intervals in front of Mega Man (we may want to exclude aerial enemies), where projectiles hit the ground at five positions before Mega Man. These points lie approximately 32, 56, 92, 112 and 128 pixels in front of Mega Man. No wonder most of us would take out enemies when they are near four and a half cells ie. 72 pixels away from Mega Man, which also is slightly higher than half the distance between Mega Man to the border of the screen AND close to the mean of 56 and 92 - where Power Stone just cannot hit anything. (The projectiles hit the said +72 line at 150, 108, 76, -28, -84 and -120 pixels above the horizon; even 76 pixels above the ground is not particularly useful since you might want the foe to be a bit more away than 72 pixels so that it cannot hit Mega Man midair.) Believe me, I didn't just make up the numbers but that's what the majority or our behaviour - you and me, people who find it useful and people who hate it - shows.

But I now represent all TASers and say that Super Arrow is stronger than any other weapon. (for you can still inflict damage with it so it is classified as a weapon somehow)

megaman 10 had the lamest bosses imo, except for nitroman cause he pops a wheelie into the room

napalmman is cool because he's just a walking pile of weapons on wheels
and stoneman "rocks" HE HE HE
mm5gb mars > napalm man

also I think I should start calling Stone Man 'Rockman' now!!!!

but R-Shadow is lamer than whatever MM10

Megaman is about platforming, but is MM8BDM really?

Besides, 8 had stages with the occasional slope... and no, I don't mean just in Frostman and wily1.
N64Mario's Mega Man engine and Rockman 4 Minus Infinity have both broken the tradition as well, so why not?

In before every slope either has horribly stretched textures or is forced to give an integer length ie. All slopes are 3:4.

More so if you mean Airman/Splash Woman, Metal Blade and Wily 1 in particular.

So yes rapid fire/autofire and slowdown are the best weapons.

And in terms of 'usefulness', tool assisted speedruns, that is, frame advance.

But if you insist to say that MM5 sucks then let's talk about the weak Rush Coil.

St. Nicetas is a not so well-known dude and does not mean a nice tool assisted speedrun!!!

C is a placeholder because some strange places need the username to be at least 8 characters long.

HertzDevil is crap.

...Oh god.

Let's say I am a non-negotiable nerd who would have said 'yes' if this soundtrack features all 6 FM channels and 3 PSG channels (2 50% squares, 1 noise).

Unauthentic soundfont doesn't work on me sadly. (you could have done something similar in VRC7 anyway but this is nowhere 9 channels)

metal blade's damage is half as much as quick boomerang and its ammo is like a quarter as much as quick's

also mega man 7 beta scorch wheel is the ultimate weapon if you speak for decimation

EDIT: Well then, Gravity Man has a PREDEFINED constant path.
