It didn't take too much.

Just recolor the outline, make the gold parts blue, tada.
And make it look 8bit at the same time.

I feel that I should clarify my opinions...

I do agree with the above. But Gen 1 made up for it with complete and utter badass okemon such as Electabuzz, Blastoise, Mewtwo, and Articuno.
Gen 2 was amazing in gameplay, story, and music. I'm never going to forget my Poliwrath and my Magmar from silver.
Gen 3 was pretty good. It had Gardevoir and Blaziken, which started the "make more pokemon look like humans" idea. Doesn't stop it from being a good generation.
Gen 4 kinda scares me for Gen 5...
Do we really need a pokemon god?
Gen 5 might top all of these if the pokemon don't have the same fag factor they had in 4.
Them's my two cents.

So we just need maps.  

I could try Cut Man.
I'm a fucking noob at maps, but it'd give me something to do.
You may need to edit it in places such as item placement and music.

I would do Oil Man, but I hear the oil needs to be scripted in order to light fire, and I don't feel like doing things too advanced.

EDIT: Never mind, maps have never been my forte, and so far the result is terrible.
