Anything Goes / Re: Best Snes/Gamecube/N64/SegaMD Game you played.
« on: December 03, 2010, 01:44:23 AM »
Snes:

Top Gear, my first game ever.
SMW, first experience with Mario.
SMW2 YI, First game I was scared of. (That potted ghost plant was disturbing when I was 6... and SRRRRRRAGH sound still is creepy to me to this day)

Gamecube:

SSBM. It's the only game I ever played on the Gamecube (I never owned one and went straight from N64 to Wii.)

N64:
Top Gear Rally
MK64
Pokemon Stadium
Rayman 2
Diddy Kong Racing
RUSH 2: Extreme Racing USA
Goldeneye 007
Ridge Racer 64
Tons more I can't think of off the top of my head...

SegaMD:

I have never played nor liked any of Sega's stuff. *flame shield up*

Help & Editing / Have a couple of questions about hosting a server.
« on: December 03, 2010, 01:28:26 AM »
1. I notice a lot of my clients use 10667 instead of 10666. Is there any way I can set the server to accept any port? (I have forwarded all the ports on my router for the server computer.)

2. I really don't like the log that's built into the Skulltag server (I like each event to be on one line). Is there a good, auto-refreshing, text file viewer for WinXP? (I've already tried Notepad++ auto-refreshing mode but it didn't work -_-').

3. I also want to know if there's any way to automatically add one bot related to the stage, e.g. if we are currently on MM1CUT, then the bot "Cutman" will automatically join the game. When we move on to the next stage, say, MM4PHA, then "Pharaohman" will auto-join and "Cutman" will leave.

Thanks, I'm a bit new to hosting servers so any advice would be appreciated.

General Gaming Discussion / Re: Pokemon Discussion thread!

I'm not enough of a fanboy to want a plushie. :P

Probably my fave Pokemon would be Porygon. Why? Because (IIRC) he's a computer program that has been manifested into real life. And that's freaking awesome.

I don't even have Twitter or Facebook so... however you can just keep checking Mike's twitter manually. You don't need to sign up and I believe you can subscribe via RSS feed.

It didn't really seem suspicious to me I guess... Guess I should have made a couple of sentences explaining what this was all about.

Either way... enjoy... I guess.

Yep. Call the mental hospital...  :)

What's wrong with the ones we have now? And why should we trust you?

The point of a File Mirror is in the even that one is unavailable, others can be used. >_>

And yes you can trust me, I run that website.

The links are fine it seems, nothing suspicious. But I agree with Ivory, the ones on the blog are fine. And mirrors to known sites like mediafire or 4shared would be better imo.

I've never heard of Bananachan so...

And gee, I thought I was doing a favor. >_>

You know you played MM8BDM for WAY too long when all video games look retro to you.

Case in point:

You know you've played too much MM8BDM when you run away from tennis players.
