One of the best ways you can leave a zombie in your dust while you run away is stand on a high up ledge and avoid getting their attention as long as possible... and then when they do see you, wait until you think they're nearing the top, and then run and jump off the ledge. They- *hack* They'll be pretty mad to find that you're gone.
