Anything Goes / I'm curious.

Forgive me for asking.

By chance, did anyone ever make a Shrek skin?

I usually avoid pirating because I'd rather have a hard copy of the game. There's some novelty to it that I approve of.

For example, I really want to get Pokemon SoulSilver, but I'm going to get a copy of the game despite how short in money I am lately. It wouldn't feel anywhere near as good playing in on an emulator.

But Gen 3 game and below I have played on emulator. I don't have a Game Boy or Game Boy Advance, and I'd rather not bother trying to buy one. Also played Emerald on emulator allowed me to play it under a randomizer. Had plenty of fun times there.

I think Azure Striker Gunvolt recently got released here.

The wait made me lose my hype though. Now I kinda don't care for the time being.

Also I remember at one point I checked the price of Megaman Legends on eBay. It was £75 (~$115). I ain't desperate enough for that right now.

Anything Goes / Re: You know what really grinds my gears?

Something that really grinds my gears is that fact that I want to carry on enjoying MM8BDM but I can't because 98% of the time I check Doomseeker, there are no servers I want to join. I want to enjoy classic 8BDM action, but the lack of populated servers that aren't classes and whatnot prevents me from being able to play online. There's single player, yeah, but I am wanting to play with human players, which single player doesn't offer.

Another thing that grinds my gears (assuming this thread can be about anything) would be the pokemon called Klink, along with all its evolutions. To me, it has nothing going for it. It's just two cogs, spinning each other around. Most other inanimate object pokemon at least have something interesting about them or have a clear reason for existing, but not Klink.

Anything Goes / I find it hard to believe anything actually happened.

also there was a solar eclipse today but i totally missed it because the weather was awful and i was working
I saw a gray sky that morning.

Truly a day worth remembering.

Now that I think of it, I can't remember ever having seen an eclipse, solar or partial. Some have happened in my lifetime, but I only know because the news says so.

Speaking of the ALBW Ice Ruins, am I the only one who actually managed to defeat the end boss without taking a hit (and this is with a completely icy arena entirely surrounded by a huge pit and another one in the middle)?
First time playing I game over'd repeatedly. Second time (on hero mode) I took one hit from its weaker attack, while being scared and focused throughout the battle because I didn't want to lose. Its main attack does 16 heart containers worth of damage on hero mode.

Also happy 4th(?) birthday Kapus!

The only dungeon that I ever found overwhelmingly annoying was the ice dungeon, and that was because it was the most tedious out of them all.
Ice Ruins was brutal, especially for me because it's the first one that I did when the new 7 new dungeons showed up.

I remember when replaying it on hero mode, I was being extremely cautious throughout the whole thing, as even with 12 heart containers, quite a few enemies in that dungeon can OHKO.

I still really enjoyed that experience though because I'm that insane.

Friendly reminder that A Link Between Worlds is still a beautiful game.
I second this.

I also haven't completed Super Mario Bros. I feel like there is a problem there, even if the game is difficult.

Based on the Steam reviews a read at some point, it's one of those games that seems like it would be not that great but turns out to be tons of fun when you actually play it.

I want to play it so one of the games is on my Steam wishlist.

I also really like the fact that the main character is genderless, as genderless beings are superior imo.

Some quote that I enjoy. Not from skype.

I would take a few steps back and then get out of that alley as quickly as possible.

Those eyes are not something I want to see.

This argument is meaningless. Stop.

I almost always use controller if given the choice. I only resort to keyboard and mouse if the game really calls for it, such as FPS games (TF2 and MM8BDM for example) or other random examples such as Surgeon Simulator.

Games like Goat Simulator are good either way, so I use a controller there. For Mark of the Ninja I use keyboard and the laptops touch pad thing for some reason.

For an FPS on my computer, I use keyboard and mouse.

And I use arrow keys to move around, because fuck WASD. I've built up a hatred for that movement methos and I'm proud of it
