Ah, well, now I can describe them more fully. Thanks, I guess.
Query-Man was designed by me without any external influences or resources. Please let me know/give me credit for using them in a fangame.
Name: Query-Man
Appearance: Kind of like Dive-Man, except with a neon green color scheme. Also, the shape of the antenna has been changed to resemble a question mark. I have sprites if any of you are interested.
Personality: As his name suggests, he loves to ask questions. In fact, in the Bot AI I'd been cooking up in my head for him, he could only ask questions--much to the irritation of everyone around him.
Stage: At the site of a space-time-related accident, where he is warping the landscape with his illusion-based powers. The player follows Query-Man underground, to see a surreal cave-like landscape, that Query-Man carved himself. The layout of the actual stage would be like Quick-Man at a couple points--lot of falling and dangerous things, but mostly, it's walking forward, through a seemingly endless hallway. Frustrating enemy placement and annoying jumps galore. Good location for Yoku Blocks as well.
Stage Gimmick: The screen will warp and deform in some predetermined areas--how badly depending on difficulty.
Moveset: The first thing he does is he jumps twice, once a fake-out and once for real (fake and real are random each time) . The jump is enough to carry him to the center of the arena, where he warps the screen as mentioned in the Stage Gimmick. Note that this lasts until he reaches the edge of the arena again. Then, he runs--towards where the player is--to the edge to the arena, where he lets loose his Query Barrage--described below--for about five seconds. Then the process loops.
Weapon (YOU GOT) : The Query Barrage, a weapon that has a short charging period, then fires many bullets very quickly, like a minigun. Very high ammunition, but it can seem to go fast. You cannot move or jump while firing the Query Barrage, but it can knock off defenses like the Bass Buster.
