I would like to request a character from the Shining Force continuum.  I don't care who it is or which level they're at, I just want it done.

"But, CF, you're already a spriter!  Do it yourself!"
I would, but I will full-out admit that I suck at walking animations--I struggle with the legs as much as the average artist does with hands.  It always turns out clunky and-or awkward, and if I want something this epic (IMO) done, I want it done right.  They already have 3 rotations done for you--please?

Can you make the bot say anything related to weapons--the weapon they're currently using, or even their favorite weapon?

I really didn't want it to be an inventory item, simply because I thought it wouldn't be useful if it only works once.

I now understand that what I want to do isn't the easiest; it would probably require a new actor--which I, obviously, haven't the capability of doing.  I think I'll scrap this design and try a more basic weapon later, perhaps the Anchor Toss.  For now, though, lock this.

Oh, man, I was playing Roboenza the other day, the stage was Bomb-Man.  As just a little joke--noone's ever gotten my Morshu references--I said "Bombs?"  and everyone, I mean everyone, got in on it.  The next reply was "You want it?"  Lots and lots of "MMMMM" 's ensued.  Someone shouted "Richer!" upon killing a zombie, and the match ended--humans won--with "...As long as you have enough Rubies."

Also, one that happened a while ago, while waiting to respawn at a Team LMS at Mr X, our one remaining teammate fell off of a cliff.  This was, of course, greeted with a "Really, man?  Really?" from me.
And everyone cracked jokes about how it was a new Robot Master.  Thanks to whoever was in the room that day--you inspired my first fanmade master, Query-Man.

As you've probably already noticed, I need to trade things back'n'forth between houses.  My method of doing this is by uploading at one house, then downloading at the other.

Here, I'm posting my incomplete rendition of the Police Shield, a weapon from Mega Man Rocks! that works exactly like the Jewel Satellite.  However, to prevent cloning, I came up with a new effect:  you use it (and are then allowed to switch to other weapons without it disappearing) , and if you get hit by something that takes 50 points of health or more, it takes the hit for you.

It would be great to have someone explain to me exactly how to do this--I'm new to coding pretty much anything--but whatever.  Like my first topic, I'll be posting what work I have down, and then asking a TON of questions.

INCOMPLETE POLICE SHIELD THING

-Of course, are all the sprites lined up in proper order?
-How would I rig it up to allow weapon switching without the Police Shield disappearing?
-What kind of Actor would I use to get the 50+ projectile(s) to interact with the shield so that they are both destroyed?
-Judged on this weapon's effect, how many uses do you think it should have?

I think the Wave Bike isn't such a good emulation of a vehicle.  Here's an idea; mod the character's speeds to represent acceleration, low friction, etc.

No no no, that's not what I meant.  My personal playstyle involves using every item at once, just how I think.  Normally, an E-Tank would remain in your inventory and not do anything if you were at full health.  However, regardless of whether you're injured or not, the Sandvich will execute its function.

In relation to the "Sandvich," the player will consume it even if they have full health.  The music fades out--not too big a deal, but still--and, I'm not sure if this is supposed to happen or not, but tossing Hyper Bombs into the water at the center will cause them to disappear.  Just the first time I noticed.

I'm working on building my own weapon right now, but Mr. Perfectionist likes to do things right the first time around.  My idea is a shield weapon that dissipates upon taking a hit that does 50 HP of damage or more...and since there really isn't a shield-based example for programming, I thought here would be a good place to ask about it.

-I'm kind of confused about compiling in general.  How does it work, and where do I need to compile to?
-Which shield would you recommend I look off of--just to see how they work--and how would I go about accessing it?

...Hmm...I know I have more questions than this, but I can't for the life of me remember what they were.  I guess I'll come back later.

There were a lot of good submissions for this contest, but one of them struck me as out-there--in a good way.  Through some means, although unconventional, I know what it's like to be depressed, in love, etc.

I vote for OrangeMario's Bright-Man drawing.
