Free free to utilize my SMB1 Mario Skin--that is, if it fits your purposes.  Also, if you look back at the weapon creation competition, the Fire Flower was not only submitted--it won.

Also, Toad did not appear as playable in SMB3, and there were no Goombas in SMB2.  If you still want an enemy, though, it may be a good idea to take Birdo.

Bowser's Inside Story was a good game, if a little easy.  It's what you'd expect of a modern RPG:  the toughest boss is 100% optional.

I'd have to say The Thousand Year Door was my favorite as well.  I was unable to beat it for many years, but it was one of my first serious games.
Also, I liked Super Paper Mario for what it was.  Yeah.

I came to post a little something I made over a couple days.  Since my idiot sister can't save a file, I lost half my progress, but I'll post what I got.

It's Proto Man's alias in Mega Man 3, Break Man.

I'm not sure if I'll finish this one, so you can finish it if you like.

Defense: Woodman using Leaf Shield

Perfect: A golden Mega Man, like in the ending sequence

...You're kidding me, right?  Pharaohman Frank killed you using that tactic.

I'm just saying that hitting enemies with the ball while still holding it was one of my favorite and most useful tactics in Mega Man 4.  I'm saying it would be a good improvement, to make it more like the originals.  But, I see I'm not convincing anyone else otherwise, so I'll shut up.

LOL, I'm not bashing, I'm critiquing.  How are you supposed to know what's wrong with 'em unless people tell you?  Isn't the objective here to get "as close to the original as possible?"

This is a fun little expansion pack, and I think a whole lot of people will enjoy it.  The Picketmen are awesome, and it's cool to see how you implemented their weaknesses.

But, you didn't reply to a few of these:
-Is it possible to make the tornadoes only go forward?
-Can anything receive damage from Time Stopper?
-Will you make a Quint AI?

Also, Woodman doesn't shoot any leaves up into the air.  That seems it'd be the hardest thing to do, but, like I said...

Perhaps you misunderstand.  It's not the "hugging people to death" part that bugs me--it's the "without losing any ammo."  I've watched a good player tote around Pharaoh Shot and kill, like, five people with it.  It seems kind of unfair that they have infinite ammo on such a tactic.

GRAAAAH YOU FORGOT TOPMAN

-Quickman is not damaged by Time Stopper
-Quickman is programmed to jump again after being shot--therefore, one can "juggle" Quickman (Works with Dustman as well)
-Shouldn't Quickman run faster than the others?
-Flashman's temporary flash doesn't work right away
-Heatman's invulnerable sprite needs to last fluctuating periods of time
-Bubbleman's default action is shooting a bubble--incredibly broken
-Airman's easy to defeat--his tornadoes keep going upward
-Brightman doesn't die from all of Rain Flush's ammo
-The Robots don't fall down holes to another level area--to death unknown
-Crashman should jump'n'shoot whenever you shoot--not him him
-You spelled "Pharaohman" wrong

That's all for now.  Also, you should be totally awesome and make a Quint AI.

Ooh, this is a favorite from my home base:  rename it "Current Thoughts," and we have a perfect topic.

Anywho, I'm thinking of focusing on one particular game and playing it until victory...problem is, I can't decide which one.  I'm thinking of Mega Man 3/9 or Super Mario Bros. 3, but...what do you guys think?

Quint killing Mega Man would result in a time paradox:  Mega Man never lived on to become Quint, meaning Quint never killed Mega Man...

Then how about we have it do as much damage as throwing it, and have it dissipate upon contact, like it did in the game?  It gets annoying to have one guy going around hugging people to death without expending any ammo just by holding Pharaoh Shot above their head.

Fractions like 1/6 and 1/8 don't really work for MM8BDM.  See, health and energy bars are divvied up into percents:  you get 100 HP units, and 100 Energy units.  You could program it to only have 8 or 6 uses available, but it won't be exact, of course.

Also, Drill Bomb works like the first thing, and Leaf Shield is kind of the second.  May want to take a look at their coding.
