My 60th avatar lands on my birthday. If I had known I was at 60 I probably would have gone with something fancy dancy. oh well

Princess Peach doing her neutral air attack. I am content with this.

Princess Peach's standard air attacks

I had nothing better to do last night* so I went and colored them. Eight times over.

*I did have better things to do, I just didn't feel like doing them

Dunno why the MM7 icons weren't redone like that beforehand, in retrospect. I like them, though I feel the old Scorch Wheel genuinely looked better. I like the old Freeze Cracker as well--the new one looks kinda like a recolored Centaur Flash.

I think they're decent attempts, but a lot of these sprites use far too many colors in one spot and it makes it hard to tell what you're looking at.

When making a sprite based on a reference (especially one for an "8-bit" context such as this), you don't have to show every detail that the original reference had. If you try to do that, a lot of times you just end up with a pixelly mess that doesn't resemble the original reference and just looks confusing. Try to simplify it a little. You can omit smaller details in the sprite in order for it to look more coherent. That kind of includes your color palette as well--try to limit your amount of colors a bit more. All the different varying colors on a small sprite (especially around the feet) really makes it hard to tell what's supposed to be represented there.

Also yeah, as a MM8BDM skin, it's recommended that you use the blue and cyan somewhere on there. People might not want to download it otherwise.

To be fair, Diveman only had a teeny tiny part of land in MM4 right at the beginning.

Bubble Man I can understand though

Splash woman's map is really so interesting. But I think that you should put every stage's main weapon at the center or the most special place of the that stage. Example I can see two Laser Trident in the map. One in the center area, and you can replace the other one by an other weapon. It's just my opinion, but you guys are working very well. Hope this version will be released soon  :)  :D
The map is sort of divided into two "main" areas, and each one holds Laser Trident, since it's a good all around weapon. I also try to keep the total weapon count of the map small, so I don't want to replace it with yet another weapon.

I do hope Splash Woman's stage contains some prop Octones though. I always loved that enemy.
It's planned!

That's super neat, Shina. I always admire people who can paint efficiently. Were you using oil paints?

I finished this a couple of days ago. It was technically a request made by a friend. I don't usually take requests, but the idea was simple and neat enough that I wanted to do it.

I would like to make a request, does anyone by any chance have a roll-mobile spritesheet I could use to make a skin, if not, does anyone have normal roll?
I made the Roll Mobile skin that's in the core (not sure where Geno came into this) and I have the spritesheet if you so need it.

with and without color

I'm pretty sure Kapus did like, all the Roll skins, with a select few that didn't exist yet being excluded.
hey brotoad made the original regular Roll skin, so credit to her

Quickly switching to Spark Man's map real quick, I think that map is a little to small for Deathmatches, especially when there are 20 players in the server.
By this logic we should also fix up Mr. X since that map is a little bit too big for deathmatches with 5 or so people.

Pretty sure Yamato Man and Centaur Man also got alternate backgrounds in MM6 as well.

Regardless I'm all for this, it's neat.
