Blizzard Bowl is fixed on the next version, sorry for that.
It won't OHKO anymore, but it will do more than half of lifebar damage, so, still... watch out for that bowling ball.
Thank you so much, Yammy...
Its so hard to beat an okay blizzman, let alone a good one........

Should there be revisits to the older classes to get them up to date?

Unless you ambush or straferun to hell, you're never gonna catch someone like that.

Even with straferun, a mega and anything faster will outrun you.

Umm...... A suggestion for gravmang...
Why not have it do damage and throw them according to where the are?
If in the air... Have it slam them to the ground and prevent them from jumping, and slow them down for a few seconds, and make the damage around what it used to be.
If on the ground, just have it throw them away doing around half of what it does now, but can throw them into pits.
Oh... and reduce its radius to around that of the flash stopper.

I'm waiting for X's thoughts on the Gman

Oh.... Okays.....

I'm not asking for ideas I'm asking for fixes.

Why not just have spawn with the wep empty, then have it charge at a rate similar to that of bombman's super bomb?
And allow him to shoot when he uses it.

The CTF map burns my eyes. I haven't checked the layout yet, but the airman textures are just ow.

I didn't want to set the textures yet, I wanted to see if the general structure of the map was good.

Tried out the CTF map a bit...

First, as Korby said, replace the airman textures to something more...Visually appealing. Second, I think you forgot to place some textures at Dr.Light's base, there's just...Emptiness. I'd suggest making it easier to grab the flags, since it's a lot like Edge of the Dam in the sense that there is little to no room for error.

This is just nitpicking here but one of the waterfall textures goes the wrong way.

Also, the music changes when (I think) a bot dies 5 times. I have no idea if this is intentional. Quick question, what's the music from?

You should get someone (coughcoughSaviourcoughcough) to host a server for you guys to test it.
Of course, you might have already done that.

That's all I've got for now.

Yea..... I did horrible when we tested it at Savior's...
It seemed so easy when I did all the testing offline...

The music will be changed as well, this is from my Doob Muilder inexperience, but I know how to fix it.

So far the general complaint was that the map was too small and unforgiving.

MM8BDM Discussion / Re: Unofficial Weapon Tiers
« on: March 14, 2011, 08:51:34 AM »

The real "issues" I have with the tier list is the C-tier, which is "megabuster level". It's kinda messy to compare all that stuff to the Megabuster, my main beef being Ring Boomerangs. (I would place higher) Of course, it's an easy fix if you move some weapons down. Weapons I would suggest moving down (from C-tier):

-Megabuster (weak)
-Gemini Laser (weak)
-Blizzard Attack (weak AND slow)
-Freeze Cracker (weak)
-Bubble Lead (very slow)

It could be the way the game is setup but the tier list seems like an inverse pyramid- you want more weapons at the bottom, not the top, and right now Flash Stopper is kinda lonely. My suggestion: put Megabuster in D or E tier, then put weapons below that you would never use over the Megabuster (like Stopper, Blizzard Attack) since you view things in terms of megabuster replacements. This would clean up the C-tier a bit. If you're curious about a single weapon I mentioned holler. (yo Tesse! etc.)

-Gemini laser isn't really weak, as it kills in 4 shots and can lock down an area with a little bit of planning. Suggested tier Mid-low to low....

-The blizzard attack(god... I miss the v1a blizzard...) It is great to rush with/close range I don't really remember its damage, but I think it can kill in 2 or 3 hits if all connect(someone call me on that) so think of it as a midrange shotgun, that has some of the best stun in the game. Suggested tier.... Mid-high to mid.

-The Freeze Cracker...... I'm not good with, so what I might tell you wont really describe it well.

-The Bubble Lead... Is one of the strongest weps in the game doing 40 damage until after its little doubling thing, otherwise it does 20 damage, fires quickly, travels slowly(if you run with these you can make a "moving fence of death" or something like it). Yet another wep with a high amount of "stun" ensuring it can combo if aligned properly. Suggested tier mid-high to mid.

-The Megabuster is free, fires quickly, and is immediately available to you(most of the time). Its dps is great being higher than most high tier weps, but requires great aim and prediction. Though, its slow, unforgiving and lacks stun it is a high level wep that deserves a mid tier area.
