This was all a lot of fun; the SDs were really unfortunate and I wonder how things would've went if they didn't happen.

Fun stuff, I look forward to more smash with all of you, be it friendlies or another cutstuff tournament.  Thanks for organizing this all Watzup, got me a chance to play with a lot of people I wouldn't have played with otherwise.

Agreed; how am I supposed to do my marathon through losers up through a grand finals bracket reset win if this match doesn't get done?

But real talk though I'd like to wrap this up to get it off the back of my mind

Events / Art Competition: Valentines Day Reboot? You Decide!

Make a thread and see if there's enough interest. Let me know if we get at least 5 people willing to enter and I'll start it up again!

Anyone remember the Valentines Day art competition a few years ago? I was curious if the Cutstuff community would be interested in a reboot of this event.

In short; the contest would be to create a Mega Man themed valentine's day card, and the community will vote on their favorite! Rely on your art skill or your punchline delivery and make a kickass card!  If I'm not mistaken, it might be for a badge again as well.

If you're interested in participating in this contest, just post here! We could see some good stuff if this competition kicks off again.

Here's the winner from the previous contest, created by a user by the name of KiwiKamikaze to convince you to participate:

Anything Goes / Re: What kind of music do you listen to?

I've been exposed to so many different tastes that I can jam to anything without really complaining  (some screamo/dubstep grates on my ears if its not done tastefully though).  Most of my personal stuff is just free VG mixes and such from OCRemix and all that.  Also have some anime soundtracks to boot, Kill la Kill, Space Dandy, Gurren Lagann, and some OPs from other good stuff

If I had to pick some "real" music though, classic rock is where its at.  Zeppelin, AC/DC, Aerosmith, the like

Also whenever I go on long trips I put on The Megas or The Protomen and belt out the tunes, lot of fun to try and hit those notes even though I'm not a singer.

Oh, while its still on my mind how would you guys feel about having a weekly smash night of some sort?  I'd like to play more with the cutstuff people, and if we have a weekly smash night there could be a decent number of people around to do free for alls, tryhard 1v1s, and even 2v2s which I'd like to try out at some point.  Plus, I'm sure some folks are divided by the 3DS/Wii U barrier, so this would be a nice workaround if people gather at a similar-ish time.  I'd say Friday night is probably the safest night to consider smash night, as its the most free universally (probably) unless you're doing something special and fun.

Most of my smashing with cutstuff folks has been the few tryhard tournament matches, so I'd like to play some more friendlies with you all

Or maybe I should scratch this idea and poll interest in a smash skype group so I can calm my smash addiction a little easier

EDIT: Yooooooooooooo there's actually already said group, pizza party

MM6TOM - SUPER DUPER HIGH SCHOOL ULTIMATE DESPAIR pick
2-1 Blossom wins

MM8AQU - Team Blossom I didn't copy paste the heart pick

The true despair lies in elimination, sweet bliss.

I would like to out of my way to urge anyone with the Wii U version of the game that's going for all the challenges;

Please use a hammer on the challenge for destroying 50000 blocks in trophy rush

This has been the most monotonous, least rewarding task.  I'm averaging over 400 blocks broken per 2:30 game, and its still going to take me well over 5 hours.  I'm too deep in to stop, and I wish this fate upon no one.  I had fun with trophy rush until I decide to grind this one out; I've stopped getting any new trophies hours ago and my Dr. Mario is better than it should be at this minigame.  DK might be slightly better for grinding this but if I spent 5 hours mashing down B I'd go insane.

You only get a badge by the way.
