Play Romeo's Ballad. I am minion lockdown at this point basically and Smash is going to hit them all so sleep won't work.

Honestly I'd just second seal him now if I were you. Donnel already got his other skill from villager at this point (Underdog) and he really will start shining in another class. Statwise, that may just be Aptitude working (mentioned this earlier but +20% to all growths when equipped) to boost his growths and create the 100% Luck growth (Luck factors into crit chance right? Or is it only crit avoid in this one?). And like Dev said, certain classes like Villager, Manakete and Taguel go to thirty since they don't have a master seal promotion.

EDIT:Depending on how much you forged that lance for Donnel, that may be a factor also. Forging can be pretty significant, IIRC you can add 15 crit to a weapon if you max the crit stat, and the extra points in might can matter a lot also. You can add enough might to a bronze weapon to make it have the same might as a steel one if I'm remembering right.

Lets see if we can put Nazzy B down this round since Thunder probably has Nazzy A. Attack Nazzy B.

and I've heard that grinding is nearly mandatory in Lunatic to simply progress without getting your ass completely ripped apart.
Actually, it's more like Lunatic requires you be lucky. Cause when you are in a situation where even Freddy will get OHKO'd and your only hope in life is that Chrom will jump in to the rescue, you know Lunatic wants you, your family, your best friend, your pets, your school teachers, your entire school, your entire town, your entire country to be vaporized in a fiery supernova that will send you and everything around you into the depths of hell and into purgatory where you will spend the rest of your days floating around a white void with a TV playing Mars of Destruction endlessly.
and that's Lunatic, Lunatic+ on the other hand...

If I'm remembering correctly, Lunatic doesn't want you to grind easily either. The legacy spotpass teams and streetpass teams only give out 1 EXP per fight, whether its a kill or not, and risen encounters scale up hilariously fast to the point you usually can't do them due to raw stat difference. Most advice I've seen for Lunatic is to grind in the DLC maps since Lunatic doesn't do anything with the EXP gain there. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, I've never wanted to try Awakening's Lunatic modes since I don't want to play Frederick Emblem for the first five chapters or so.

And then Lunatic+ gives all those fun skills you see on enemies in the ultimate challenge DLC to enemies in the main campaign after a while. Have fun with enemies that have 100% activation rates on Pavise (1/2 damage from swords, lances, axes and beaststones), Aegis (1/2 damage from bows, tomes, and dragonstones), or Luna, 100% guaranteed hit rates, or enemies that always go first in combat. Or some unholy combination of these skills.

Play Romeo's Ballad. The less damage we take the fewer resources we have to expend healing it, and since both guards are being attacked, I think I shouldn't try sleep. I'll probably damage test disharmony on a more threatening group.

Actually, could I get a quick clarification on the sleep status effect Freeman? Like, for example, does it heal on a physical attack or any attack, and is there a natural timer to it or a chance per round to wake up, etc.

If you haven't yet encountered her, Tharja appears later in the story, the guy you faced is several chapters ahead of you.
Also, about Donnel, the main reason he sucks starting out is the Villager class's amazingly horrible class growths and bases. If you haven't already, getting him up to 10 and second sealing to mercenary will give him the merc growths and also give him +2 HP, +4 STR, +7 SKL, +6 SPD and +4 DEF along with Armsthrift just from the class change. Also, fun fact about Donnel, with his Aptitude bonus, he has a 100% LUK growth rate (Aptitude is a flat +20% to all growth rates when equipped).

Also, would this be a good time to revive Koal's Fire Emblem Thread?

Smash does have a point about the lack of remedies, and we tend to go through potions like water, so I'll take an Ability Capsule, remedy and potion. I will laugh if Spike's new sword gives him Esuna though.

Also, sorry if my lack of posting anything here after switching out of the first fight seemed like losing interest or something, I just figured I was probably the best person to drive since I can't do much vs bosses yet.

General Gaming Discussion / Re: I am Error (Glitches and stuff)
« on: October 27, 2013, 02:11:30 AM »
I have a cartridge of Final Fanasy 3 for the SNES that will randomly apply the effects of the Sketch Glitch (link for those who don't know what it is) in a battle inside the Phoenix Cave (oddly not when fighting the dragon though) or on the Veldt without Relm having to sketch. Since a lot of the effects of the Sketch glitch make the game unplayable until you reset the console, young me was terrified of the Phoenix Cave and had to resort to loading up one party with Mog and the moogle charm (no random encounters) and the other with the charm bangle (reduced random encounters) and then running Mog's group to a save and just saving and switching liberally.

However, there was one time where it glitched on the Veldt and I was able to escape. I ended up playing that file for around half a year because I had so much fun with all the glitched equipment it gave me. I remember having several stacks of the best weapons, armor and accessories in the game, but my favorite thing was infinite dirks. The game listed several stacks of dirks it gave me as 00, so no matter how many you sold or threw, they never went away. Shadow was one of my favorite characters on that file since he never ran out of throwables.

Yeah, since I'm basically minion lockdown at this point, I'll Switch With TGOT so he can scan and steal. I'm still available if someone needs to switch out though for whatever reason.

It's been a while so I may be completely misremembering, but I think a big problem in trying to revive this would be the fact that KY hid a lot of coding in ACS or something like that so it's impossible for one to view or modify it.
