My favorite thing about Generations is that the levels, for once, weren't about 10 minutes long.
I have to admit, Speed Highway is really nostalgic: riding helicopters around, using rockets to go to different parts of the city, running on sides of buildings.

However, City Escape's feeling was sort of hollow for me. The original City Escape was about 3 minutes and 30 seconds. Generations was 2 minutes and with only a few elements, such as the truck.I really like the truck in Generations. Apparently, somebody went and pissed in this guy's cereal. This guy is on a murder spree and doesn't care how much of New York he has to blow up to catch Sonic.
You know this is serious business when your being chased by a truck, which has saw blades coming out of it and is driving on the sides of buildings. I have a couple more thing to complain about in City escape, but I'll do that when its relevant.

I have such a feeling the truck part is going to be a spoiler.
