Doomseeker: MM8BDM servers not showing up.
« on: March 12, 2016, 10:06:53 PM »
I have been trying to play online, but when i enter Doomseeker, there are no MM8BDM servers. I set everything up correctly, but it still dosen't shows up servers. Here's an image about my setup.

I even unchecked the "Show full/empty servers" but i still don't get any servers.

There are a few things you can try...

1) Make sure you can see servers.
You do this simply by removing all the filter options and checking your internet connection.

2) Make sure you can access any server that's on Best-Ever, seeing as all but two of the servers currently running are a part of that chain.
Start by running command prompt [in Windows 7, which appears to be what you have, simply open the start menu and type "cmd" in the search bar].
Afterwards, type "ping best-ever.org".
If the program prints anything that talks about errors, you have issues connecting with the Best Ever chain.

3) Check your internet connection.
I think this goes without saying, but it's the only other thing I know that I can point out.

I can still see servers, but Best-Ever servers aren't responding, and didn't recieve errors from the command prompt. Internet connection seems to be fine, too.

He's got stats in the bottom right hand corner, so he's definitely pulling something from the Zandronum master server.

Unless there's some sort of caching that Doomseeker uses if you can't connect to the MS or something. Open up the log window and screencap that maybe?

I could copy the log text, so here's the text. I can send a screenshot of it if needed, however.

The smile was alredy there in text.
