It's because the title is misleading. Not many of us know about port forwarding.

I think it means enabled and disabled?

Also, this reminds me of my own router, did you possibily add the wrong private IP adress? If your router has several computers that get internet from it, you may have given the wrong computer acces to host with Skulltag.

Though routers differ greatly sometimes, there should be an list of everyone's private IP somewhere. And if that doesnt work make sure you chose the correct ports and such.

In my router Skulltag is set as:
IP,                  Type, Port Range, Comment
192.168.2.103   UDP   10666         Skulltag 1

Oh, and i dont recall needing special ports for MM8BDM, just having ports open for Skulltag should allow you to host MM8BDM, i think. Considering MM8BDM is run on Skulltag, and it is not its own game. :P

If your server is laggy, it probably means your internet connection isn't good enough.  There's no way to fix that other than getting a new internet service provider.

If it's like my internet connection at home is, port 10666 seems to have a mind of its own and opens and closes whenever it feels like.  In other words, your port 10666 is closed.
