Hey, since I'm pretty much done with Chrono Man's map other than some tweaking, and i STILL haven't heard back from M712 yet, I'll take on working on Dyna Man's map. However i started with textures first with Chrono man and i found some to be kinda useless, so is it better if i started with the layout first to accommodate the texturing for later?

Excuse me for popping in here, but I'm now suddenly curious about this project. I blame Kackebango.

How's Shark Boomerang supposed to work, exactly? Is it just Shadow Blade or Quick Boomerang?
Speaking of weapons, are you still going to use Lego's? What are the weapons going to be like?

The original incarnation (game version) of Shark Boomerang worked like a slower Shadow Blade, thus sat longer at peak range and you could move while shooting. Currently Lego's is just a Ring Boomerang reskin (maybe different values somewhere). Some of his weapons are ok, but some could maybe use a little touching up, such as Detonator (imo he should make it more like the copy weapon version with the remote detonation feature it had, work like drill and gyro) and Oil Stream (which he agrees too). If we don't, we have ideas.

Fairly certain the weapons are going to remain of my possession.
I believe Shark Boomerang is still a Ring Rang reskin...I will try to be more original and do work later. (but sooner than the Rokko Chan stuff I have planned)

Ninaj'd

Eh...? Remote Detonation? Easy enough to do.
Shark Boomerang might be fun to play around with....
Finally, for Oil Stream...I don't have any ideas other than having it attach to walls and floors and have it keep going, I don't even

There hasn't been any updates or anything here lately. Is the project still going on?

I guess I will use the same logic as used with other expansion I have worked with. It appears to be sleeping.

...Ok then. I guess there's no point in staying on this topic.

I was kinda looking forward to this expansion.

I haven't been able to follow the entire thread just because of how long that would take, but are the HUD sprites done at all?

Because I was hoping you guys would remember that the buster is supposed to look physically different from each weapon.

Not what you're referring to when it comes to physically different-looking busters. Unless you mean the silly artwork between each stage that I never took into account when it comes to weapon huds. I would rather not go through and replace all of them, but they do need to be updated to work with v3a at the very least. I'll get to that now, I suppose.

As this expansion has a bit more work put into it then many would expect the issue we have is the complete lack of Mappers. We have 1 done map and permission to use the old MM1DW2 map to create another.
We still need
Oil Man: to at least be touched up if Dood hasn't scrapped it completely.
Shark: I think someone was doing something with this. I don't remember.
Bit: I have an idea for this one. But we still need someone to make it.
Volt
Sonic: Permission to edit the old MM1DW2 map, only requirement is it MUST have more added to the map.
Dyna
Blade
Wave
DOS3 Wily

Weapons are all covered by Lego.
Kacklebango has made wonderful music for many of the maps.
Nemz has supplied textures for all the stages seen within the two games minus the first game's intro and final stages for obvious reasons.
Skins have all been completed by various people, many even having alternative versions to match the in game looks of the bosses.

I'd offer a hand in mapping, but I have never played these Megaman games. All I've seen is part of a video.

Go to DosBox.com and get DOS for Windows XP, Vista, and Seven.

Install it and then download this:

http://www.abandonwaredos.com/abandonwa ... d=MTM3Ng==

Point DosBox to the folder by "mounting" and type "mm".

Message me if you get stuck.
