Goddamn it, maybe you don't know but, I did a topic about a annoying boss crash in MM6 chapter, but I passes through it, I was in Spring Man level, I beat it, and it was in the victory screen and Slash Man's level was loaded and then I went to Light's lab, but it didn't save, that as alright, because maybe it was because I got out of the stage quicly but, then I got out of the game (just to make sure that I wouldn't loss any memory), the game was also lagging, so I turned of my laptop, but then I came back to the launcher, and all my memory dissapeared? What the hell? I just don't understand, I know that I can use cheats to come back where I was, but what the hell happened?

Now, I've fought Bass, and everything Restarted AGAIN! Goddamn, does anybody knows why this happen, if this repeat, I'll be tired of having to customize my controls and searching the code, someone help me PLEASE!
EDIT: Just for you know, I'm in Windows 8 and I just used "saveprogress" cheat, and MM8BDM was lagging and then I turn off my laptop and turned it on again (and a message saying about "using the OPENGL" apearred) and then I did all again (well you can also help me if you tell me which archive of the folder has the memory in it, because I could Ctrl+C and then if this happened I would just need to Ctrl+V.

What happens before you find your game was reset?
Does the game crash? Does your
computer
crash?
Is the game simply not saving?
Do you have the game saved in more than one location by mistake? Check to make sure.
If the issue is game crashing, go to the configuration tab in the launcher and set the renderer to Software. The launcher will give you a warning message asking you to switch to Open GL when it opens again, but only do that if the problem continues occurring.

No, it didn't crash, it was just lagging, then I turned my computer off and then restart it (when I re-opened the game, it still was lagging (and I use OpenGL)).
Edit: my game was saving but, in the time it was lagging I couldn't know if it was saving, because I was in Bass fight, so I couldn't defeat thim with lag, so I don't know if it could save or not.

Don't attempt to shut down the computer when you're running the game. Make sure the game completely closes normally before shutting off your computer.
Try the software thing anyhow- that generally runs with more stability on weaker machines if you're having performance issues.

I didn't turned off while playing, I closed the game, then turned off.
Are you sure I need to change from OpenGL to Software? My game plays well in normal levels and, will this solve the save problem?

If you're having consistent loss of framerate, it would be a good idea to at least try.
How are you closing the game? Are you hitting the close button on the window or exiting from the menu?

I always play in fullscreen mode, so the only way is exiting through the menu. I'll try to use Software.

I think it will easier to finishi this problem if I know which archive stores the Save file and the Settings. Also, I think there's something wrong with the game, always when my joystick is enabled the graphics and sprites writhe themselves, it's like there's a line that's passing through the sprites vertically, I can't explain this but, if you have an idea or knows that to solve it, please answer me.
Edit: Nevermind, it was my deadzone, part of my analogic have a problem, so the aim was turning wothout touching it.
