OpenGL

Alright, so my computer can run OpenGL now... but one thing it still can't.

The mirror in Roll's room.

Whenever I look at the mirror, it lags up and after about 2 seconds Skulltag gets a "Very fatal error".

I know the obvious solution to this is "don't use OpenGL" or "don't look at the mirror" but I was wondering if there was a way to use the old mirror design with the features of OpenGL? Thanks.

Run Opengl in GL compatibility mode.

Where would one find that? The menus of doom are plentiful and rather hard to navigate...

Search for gl_vid_compatibility in your config and make it true.

I recall you can switch to compability mode before starting Skulltag (by activating Skulltag.exe directly, perhaps), if you didnt set it to never show again, and just when it asks what renderer to use before playing, just choose OpenGL and click on the compability option as well.

If you have any Iwads available, you can choose those too (though MM8BDM isnt recognized as an IWAD by Skulltag, so it wont show up).
It might show the renderer selection when starting skulltag with another program/application as well.
If it doesnt show such a menu, i guess you could poke around in your configuration, its named after the user account you're using for Skulltag.
