How should I make this thing walk?
Perhaps I could just replace the Stand with the closed appearence and use the current Stand sprites for the movement?
If not should I make this thing spin?

I would say do not make it spin while walking maybe put a orb under it and have it flash, but definitely not spin because of top spin. Nice job so far though :D

What on earth does top spin have to do with it?
Make it spin, it'll add a whole new level of trippiness.

By the way, I'm not sure if you know this or not, but you can only have one frame for stand.

Blargh, everytime I try to make the diagonal walking it comes out terribly. If anyone wants to create the diagonals and / or improve any other poses I guess, be my guest.

You should reverse the frames on the back spinning, so it's more consistent.

PS when I moved posts around to the new forums, some older topics got bumped to the top which is why you may find a lot of this happening. I have no idea why this happened though.
