Gah, I was playing and all of a sudden this guy starts the annoy the heck out of me. He starts trolling, I start a vote and he is kicked. Next time I visit him, he trolls again, bugs me, and starts a vote agaisnt me. And it passes because 4 people though I was kicking a different person. I hate these people... But I guess I'm gonna have to put them on my ignore list.

Are you serious? I didn't think the host of the server was able to be kicked. Well did you shut it down as revenge?

Yeah, you can get kicked from your own server.  When you're playing the game, it doesn't associate your player profile with the server host.

LOL Zellough, I was in your server when that happened! I pressed Page Up since the kick reason was "Foul language + trolling" or something  and seemed legit enough. Didn't realize that you were the admin hehe.

Also Kirbu, you were just whining a lot. That guy (I forget his username but it started with an F) was not even trolling you, you just kept dying and he said "u bad" and you just lost it. You kept announcing the you muted him as well and whenever he'd chat at the victory screen, you assumed he was talking to you. He wasn't. Don't be so self centered. Nobody else had a problem with him, in fact you were the only one whining about him. It was funny when you tried to votekick him and it failed and then he votekicked you and it was a success.

That's...weird.  It usually works the other way around!  I should know.  I was once punted off a Minecraft server for using my lovingly-made "Joseph fox" avatar.  Furry haters gonna hate and I guess furry elitists gonna ... uh...elite.  >_>  <_<;

Interesting, i made myself completely immune to votekicks in my own server by use of a Whitelist though. Its kinda like a banlist, except the people's IP's on it cannot be votekicked (server itself can kick them for other things, like changing their profile information too many times in short succesion).

And using RCON, you can do, say, the following in the console to cancel votes: rcon cancelvote. Only the server/rcon users/the creator of the vote can stop votes, though. (Oh, and skip the rcon part and just do cancelvote if you're cancelling your own vote, if you want.)

Hmm... If you want to try to make a whitelist, try making a whitelist.txt in your Skulltag folder, and to enter an IP, simply do something like, uh...
82.73.161.220:ExtIP
Format being the IP, directly followed by an : and a discription afterwards.
I dont think they can share the same line though, so put any new entries in a line of its own.
Edit: Make sure to put in all the IP's in that you can use to connect with, not sure if external IP always works.

You can also basically mute people in a server by doing "rcon ignore name_here". If done without rcon, you'll be the only person to not hear him anymore. If you're not feeling like kicking said person, atleast.

well shit and poop, later on some guy came in and tried to kick me again because i was supposedly "hacking"    maybe i should start making my servers private :L
