The three personalities come from a PARALLEL (or howerver you spell it) UNIVERSE!
I'm serious.
Basicly, in a parallel universe, Rock never existed, and Wily reprogrammed 6 of Light's robots. Tima Man and Oil Man were not, and thus they volenteered to be converted to fighting robots, and they fought Wily ever since. Along the way, Time Man meets Splash Woman (I'm thinking, between the 2nd and 3rd game), and Splash Woman joins in on the group.

Note: In this universe, Time Man was actually created by Wily, but because he couldn't get the time-control mechanism to work at all, he abandoned him. Light then found Time Man, who then worked as an assistant.

Seriously, I fail to see how these fits their respective masters at all. Oil Man's seem to consist of just a random bunch of mostly memetic lines that doesn't suit him at all, Time Man has one or two lines that may suit him, the rest falls under the same problem as Oil Man, and Splash just spouts random combat lines that could suit pretty much anyone.

I will agree that your chats were incredibly generic--which is why I thought biting would help.  The game sounds relatively interesting, but the bot chats could use improvement.

Also, Magikarp needs a Roaming String of "Karp-Karp." (His most commonly used phrase) , and a Win String of "/me evolves into Gyarodos!"

Did the "Karp-Karp" thing.

However, I like Magikarp! In fact, in the games, I actually prevent Magikarp from evolving.

So, no evolving based entirely on personal taste.
