What do these "DEMO" files do?

I keep getting these files after i play online like "DEMO-31102010-1407.cld" or "DEMO-31102010-1448.cld". I have no idea of these functions or how to open them.

can someone explain to me what pourpus these serve?!?

Open the launcher and press the play demo button. Choose one of the files and it will play back the entire game you played, which is very handy for recording in fraps or whatever. Here's some handy console commands:

DEMO_SKIPTONEXTMAP - Skips to the next map in the recorded game
DEMO_SPECTATEFREELY - Turn into a spectator that can move around while the game is in progress.

Note that you must be running the same wads, skulltag version etc that you used when the demo was recorded. For example if roboenza-1 was running when you played, that demo file will require reoboenza-1 or it will go out of sync badly. Also note that extremely long games may start to get glitchy, like your crosshair will point in a different direction from where you're actually shooting, it's hard to explain.

To make things easier, I always call my demos different things depending on what I play. All my roboenza demos are called ZOMBIES  :p
