Really? In Black, the evolution stones just POP out of nowhere, I swear. I have a bunch of different stones from many places in Unova

Maybe Black and White have a LOT more differences than we thought!
Also, is it me, or does Reshiram suck?

in black, you find stones everywhere, in white, gems everywhere

As for Reshiram, it's a rocket dragon, what more can you want?

though my zekrom (or whatever) is cursed, always 1 shoted by sheer cold on the 1st turn

My Reshiram, who I named Ivory...no not for THAT reason, was an absolue nessesity for when I went against Ghetsis. I only lost against him once because of his Hydreigon. Near the end of 2nd time I fought him, Reshiram vs. Hydreigon, I was sure that I was screwed. I was very surprised that Reshiram withstood Hydreigon's Dragon Claw, I think it was, and managed to defeat him. So Reshiram is okay for your unique Dragon/Fire Pokemon who specializes in special attacks. I may look online for a Zekrom eventualy. Anyone got a Lvl.9 and under Kyurem they can spare?

Again, for stones, they are found in the same matter in both games. Although you can effectively buy stones in Black which I, and my $9,999,999, an trying to work on.

I'm confused. I mean, Ivory being a Reshiram totally makes sense, but I'm not sure what you mean by "THAT reason."

Oh...by THAT reason, I meant naming it due to Ivory being an admin...I guess. I had the colors Ivory and Ebony, for Zekrom, in mind. The admin name never crossed my mind.

Is it me, or do Dragon-type moves do very little damage in Black/white?

I used Dragon claw on some pokemon with my Archeops, and it does like only ¼ damage or less! And my Archeops is level 66!

Dragon types became unbelievably OP in Generation V.

You're just doing it wrong.

I don't know... pretty much Outrage is my best Dragon-type move, and thats it!

Serperior
Excadrill
Zebstrika
Scrafty
Archeops
Rayquaza

EDIT: I'm not too fond of mixed-elements of Pokemon.
Ex: Emboar is both a fire and fighting type.
If you have a pokemon of two types, your chances will go up if you find another pokemon that has a better advantage over you.
Scrafty is an exception.

Anyways, heres my current team for Gen 5:
Serperior
Eh. It's fine, but it's rather generic. It won't win you any awards. I'd pick something with better stats or typing.
Excadrill
I've never seen the appeal in this Pokemon. It's like fighting Steelix. Just bring a fast water type and these guys are useless. Drop it.
Zebstrika
Same thing applies here that I said with Serperior. It's mainly a speed Pokemon, and while I tried to like it, there's at least two electric types in Gen V that overpower it instantly. Drop it.
Scrafty
You need to get a kill on something for this Pokemon to be useful at all. Scrafty has a horrible time dealing with Pokemon like Leavanny.
Archeops
Give this guy a sitrus berry or something to keep him above half health at all times and you should be fine.
Rayquaza
...What the fuck? First off, it's an uber legendary that feels completely out of place. Secondly, Ice types decimate this guy in pure seconds, just like every other dragon that isn't Ivory or I. Drop it.

Crazy, messed up team that doesn't really resemble everything.

Yes, I'm aware of my bad team. I was thinking of catching a Boldore, and not letting it evolve for sometime, and replacing it with Excadrill.
I just like Serperior because of his good speed.
As for Rayquaza, some guy on GTS negotiations traded him for my Emolga.

Maybe this is why I can't beat the Elite four for the 2nd time...

I don't really know much of a tactic with the Elite 4 for the second time, except for just wailing on them using their weaknesses, but I've read that using Volcarona against Alder is a good strategy since he always starts off with Accelgor. Just keep using Quiver Dance until his stats are maxed out due to Accelgor's moves not being very effecive against Volcarona (i.e. Focus Blast, Bug Buzz, Energy Ball).

For me, I didn't beat the Elite 4 the 2nd time until I got a full team of Lvl.100 Pokemon:

Ivory (Reshiram) - Shadow Ball/Psychic/Dragon Pulse/Blue Flame
Aqua (Cobalion) - Iron Head/Sacred Sword/Poison Jab/X-Scissor
Hydrus (Hydreigon) - Fly/Earthquake/Crunch/Draco Meteor
Trident (Simipour) - Shadow Claw/Brick Break/Crunch/Waterfall
Xiao (Mienshao) - Fake Out/Poison Jab/Stone Edge/Brick Break
Mothra (Volcarona) - Hurricane/Fiery Dance/Bug Buzz/Heat Wave

Wanting to finally beat the champion wasn't that too enticing.

I've been raising a lot of new Pokemon recently in Black version to try and make different themes. New guys include Qwilfish, Xatu, Yanmega, Sandslash, Zoroark, Clefable, Infernape, and a Timid Dragon Dancing Dream World Corphish I got from a very generous azn trainer. I know some of these guys aren't the best, but ya know what?

I wouldn't trade them for the world. They have their own strengths, and I like each and every one of them because they're all cool Pokebros I'd feel proud to train.

I've wanted to bring Pokemon from my Heart Gold version over, but without certain items on hand I don't feel ready to have them with me yet. Someday I'll be bringing my Elekid with me around Unova, if I could afford an item at the Battle Subway.
