i don't mind camping, even in the metalman spot i saw the "invincible camper" get laid but eh
Your info says Mexico so I'll forgive you but in this language (well, its current slang) gettin laid means something else!

don't mess with me man.

Maybe he meant for it to sound like that.
Metal Man hiding spot + Pharaoh Shot + 3 W-Tanks = ZOMBIE RAPE
Zombie Rape combo above + Zombie managing to touch rapist = EPIC FAIL

So, yeah... rapist got sexed up by a lucky and/or accurate zombie grope. :p

PROFIT LOGIC!!

i love you

I don't care about Camping, really. As long as it's not unfair, It's fine.

That is, in Roboenza mode. I try NOT to camp in normal mode, because I'll feel cowardly AND people will pass me by. It's just like sitting around wasting time, which is essentially what it is in any mode other than Roboenza.

Camping is a truly boring activity.
I don't care if people do it, but it's boring and it drags down the activity of the match.

camping can be silly but is really useful for roboenza.  I mean,  you want the zombies to not touch you, and to make it so they can't reach you until either they die or take too much damage-- so logically you're going to find the safest place, pick the best weapon to stay safe in said place, and hope for the best a lot of the time.  Unless it's a map you know very well that it can definitely be pulled off in, you're usually not gonna be running around if, say, you're the last or nearly-last survivor and there are many zombies.

i actually love how in team fortress you have the engineer and sniper who are two classes usually devoted completely to camping in a very tight corner, but then you have the spy which is a class designed more or less above all else to harass and destroy those two classes (and anyone else trying to camp)

I don't support camping. It makes the game less fun, less exciting and the same every time you go back to a camper-friendly stage. (Air Man, Metal Man, Quick Man, Napalm Man, Crash Man, Gemini Man, Wood Man, Mr. X, Dark Man, etc.) I don't think I want to replay trying to catch the chicken between the gears in Metal Man's stage 400 times or climb up the middle pillar in Dive Man's stage to tag the fool at the top for the 1000th time in my Roboenza career. Besides, Roboenza mode has gone on for about one and a half months now. Everyone's figured out the camping spots, or at least enough players on the server to go after it once they get infected. I cannot even count how many times survivors hide in the two-block hole in Gemini Man's stage only to end up infected from the knockback trick.

Camping is overused, we all know it will happen and where the spots are and most can figure out how to get up and convert the healthy with enough health and some trial and error.

I think at best, camping should only be a last resort, not plan A. Only camp if you have tried every other solution and cannot find one that would have a likely enough chance to work. Only hide if it's the only thing you can do, but I don't think it's the only thing you can do out of the gate. Be creative until the need for survival dictates to run or hide or both.

For me, camping in Roboenza is a good way to not draw attention (and of course, not firing at any zombies). Of course, make sure you have an escape route, or you're zombie food once you're found. That's usually why I pick locations that are more open (such as in the water in Gemini Man).

It's funny because most people use the camp spots immediately on level start

I think the worst stages are Mr. X, Air Man, and Centaur Man

In Air Man you can straight up be invincible as a survivor. Centaur Man the survivors can use jump techniques to out jump zombies.

It's a fine strategy to camp though, if people want to do it. It just means the alpha zombie needs more careful planning on who to give up no-knockback to and how to most effectively infiltrate the campiest spots.

Though I would like to say camping is a load of bullshit, I can't do that.
CAMPING is actually tactical if you know your opponent is going to approach.
Like that Dr. Wily Skull Castle Interior in MM8BDM Demo where the Napalm Bombs are.
You know someone is going to go for the Napalm Bombs because it is VERY efficient *blush* in the map due to the design.
You shoot 'em with the Napalm 3 or 4 times and they DIE.
That, is what you call a CAMPING SPOT.
Amazing, am I rite?!

Wow, they use it so long you feel like you wanna enable "TEABAG.EXE" but too bad there isn't. Which is one weakness of camping, and that is the opponent's SUBTERRANEAN STRATEGICAL KNOWLEDGE, or what I like to call, SSK.
Haha, sure they are in the point of invincibility in the map but who cares?
You know where they are.  Get out the search snake and shoot em up and down, or whip out a gemini laser and shoot the ceiling to preform a BOUNCE-OUT STRAIGHT OUT GEMINI LASER TO THE FACE,
or what I like to call a HBO SPECIAL.

In the regular MM8BDM's case, it's just a spark shock and a couple of new weapons. Haha, that gives the camping spot away because one of the items is RUSH COIL.  However, it may be dangerous because there may be other players watching you. So, in that case, preform another HBO SPECIAL or just get the Proto Buster and chrage, charge until the boat sets sail and runs off. Or just let it have a head start.
So, all those tips about camping? What does this have to do with the subject? Well, it happens to be my reason on why camping is neutral (or why people should not complain about it)and should be treated like any other strategy.

It may be long but I am not smarter then a fifth grader it is my opinion on why camping is what I think it is.

I don't find camping in a deathmatch very effective but I find camping in Roboenza to be fine, it a nice stratagy sometimes if you don't want to be caught

Camping is a time-honored FPS tradition and while I don't do it much myself, I don't take issue with people who do (within reason).

Camping is an use-able strategy, you know. In roboenza, you want:

1 - The zombies to stay away from you
2 - Survive as long as you can

Camping does that fine. The Leader zombie must observe the camping spots around the stage and go for the one that will trouble his horde the most. That's what I do in stages where its possible to camp. Also, Running isnt safe - The zombies can team up and surround you in close spaces; something that I ALWAYS end up doing in Knightman's stage. You know at the part inside it, where there are two ladders, one going right, and the other one going left? If the survivor goes to the one in the right, I run to the end of the stage, Climb the stairs there and get him. Sometimes, using your brains is awesome - Per example, in that stage where there's a lower part with dust (dustman-ish-ly but isnt dust man stage) and the higher parts have two corridors, and the only way to get out of the lower part is using two stairs located in the ends of it? What I do - If there's a group of zombies chasing the survivor down there, I place myself in the top of the stairs, making him cornered.
Meh, most people have to learn to use teamwork. It works, you know.
