If you could get us a permanent irc room on oftc or something I'd be happy to do some kind of irc embed on my site.

I am pretty sure I can make a room right now and invite chanserv to the room. I am already on the network. What would the room be named anyway (I am guessing Cutstuff).

I think that's a no. I can probably start one in Quakenet, espernet, or Skulltag. You pick.

Skulltag would be my first choice but I'd need to know who watches over that before I say yes to that (obvious reasons!). Also I know my site is mostly Doom but that could change in the future  

As for espernet and quakenet, I have no idea about either of them but if you know they're reliable then go for it.

if you are worried about whom is in control of the channel on Skulltag network then I'll have at it. I already run my own clan channel there that's part of the Doom competitive community (and third larger channel too on Skulltag irc during the evening or weekends). I will easily put my boot up a troll's ass with !kickban or !addlamer which can basically remove the person from the channel forever.

I'll elect Ivory, DTD, You, Brotoad, and other Cutstuff staff to help function the channel. Just give me the word and it will be good as done.

I can do the same for other networks too.

I meant higher up, not the channel itself. I know Eruanna owns the server itself (and I'm fine with her) but I want to know who else has the say of what goes on in the server, if you catch my drift.

You have to use a client like Nettalk or MIRC in order to access it. You can also use stuff like chatzilla to access IRC.

I'll try to quickly implement the irc embed, I won't be able to test it from here though.

Well, I went to esper.net and it said it connected to the server.  It keeps saying "people said stuff", but the actual page never loads, it just says "connected."

EDIT:  Weird, the site loaded Mibbit but it didn't work.  Physically going to Mibbit's site worked.
