You know I grew up with Dragonball (Z) and i always thought it was pretty cool as a kid for the one reason: mindless violence! The anime really prooved that only fighting and super powers make an good anime if done right :P

About naruto...well Ive never got into that heck he is suppsoed to be an ninja yet no one is stealthy or anything there like kids playing shinobis.

even though naruto seems pretty bad compared to dragonball z, i can't vote because i have never watched naruto.
dragonball z was more than just mindless violence though!

I like the naruto fight scenes and story, but sometimes it drags on worse than dragon ball z I swear. I'll go for DBZ just because it was one of the few series I watched where I HAD to get home in time to watch the next episode. The only other series I did that for was Pokemon.

There shoulld be a Dragonball option. Z was repetitive, enjoyable, but repetitive. Dragonball wasn't just Goku kicking everyone's asses, he had to actually do something. Anyways, I voted for DBZ.

Ive seen DBZ and its getting dull after the buu saga. Its the same over and over and over.

"A badguy shows up! we need to kill him but we arent strong enough!... Yay we beat him!" And repeat that over and over.

Ive only seen Naruto for 20 episodes so i wont vote just yet.
Downloading it soon to see whats the big fuzz about the show.

Don't you wish you had a sage feature?

DBZ on top considering how drastically terrible Naruto is.

Blargh, if you mean dubs, then...Well, they're pretty much on the same level of terribleness.

However, I'm going to go with Naruto on this one. I hate the main character, but if you don't watch the squeaky voice dub, it's actually kinda good.

Well if you actually knew, the creator of Naruto did base it off the Dragon ball series, hence why there's less ninja-like stuff and more martial arts scenes and well... long conversations. Then again, who doesn't encounter this in any anime that isn't a movie?

In my honest opinion, I prefer DBZ over Naruto mainly because despite it's slow points ((especially Frieza Saga)) it was entertaining to watch and just how Mike explained it, it was one of those shows that makes you wanna rush home on time to see the next episode. Naruto had those moments too, but it seemed to insist upon itself very frequently in suspenseful moments or when detailing specific areas and/or abilities. Speaking of which, it seems that naruto also treats itself as a freaking classroom discussing those techniques in frequent detail that it made me fall asleep. No I don't care about 7 to 10 gates in regards to a damn skill, nor do I care about seeing flashbacks about what some dude said to you 30 episodes ago which supports your "ninja code".
And what Mike said is also true to death!! It F***ING DRAGS ON CONSTANTLY. You try watching a Shippuden marathon. I guaranteed you'll enjoy spending 2 hours in the bathroom more than seeing 3-4 episodes just to conclude a conflict with 5-10 minutes of pointless dialogue and jumping... It's not worth getting hemorrhoids thats for sure...

Basically what i'm trying to say... DBZ gets to the point without much boredom, while Naruto is just emotionally boring and tedious. Familiar faces and lovable characters no doubt ((especially Shikamaru :D)), but I can't enjoy their presence in this format without running into 3 flashbacks and moody music every 3 minutes.

Funny thing is, Buu saga wasn't even suppose to happen. Everything was suppose to end completely with Cell Saga. But apparently popularity and designs encouraged another saga-... let me rephrase that... an absolutely horrible saga which although is boring as %$&#, it can't compare to GT which is twice as bad. No matter what two plots it was given ((yes, GT had two plots. The second one isn't even remotely interesting either, and apparently Trunks cross dresses in it too.))

Though if you are now watching GT and... not to get all dramatic and bias... may god have mercy on your soul.

buu saga wasn't great i'll admit but i think calling it "horrible" is goin too far, i mean, it wasn't painful to watch! and hey, buu was an entertaining villain at least! GT was just boring more than anything, i didn't watch alot of it
