Minecraft related shiz.

*Edit Pistons not Pistols... Heh... Though that would make any Creeper's life sour.

Most interesting of all so far i put together was some undetectable pitfall traps that are toggeled by a switch, sometimes used as a trash pit or for inviting the odd monsters in the dark caves next to the room.


If you mess around a bit you can use them for a undetectable (well, aside for the switch) hidden entrance through a wall, just made like the hatch except its sideways and at the wall. Kinda like the classic moving bookcase trick.

I would love to make a sticky piston, but i has no slimes evar.  Do they spawn in light?

I recall from reading the Minecraft Wiki that they spawn at the 1 to 14ish or so last layers above the bedrock(indestructible stone, well to legal tools), or just really, really low. Mind you to get them to spawn instead of regular monsters you actually need light i heard. But i guess if you want to be completely certain go look on the Wiki, second result when looking for minecraft on Google.

Though i kinda cheaped my way on getting some items heh... I suggest you keep cheating as an last resort, its... Addicting, you could say, once you make your own items on demand with Toomanyitems, you'll never go back. Works well with my habits of attempting to make complicated structures/machines however.

I hear they only spawn in certain chunks, not to mention i can't count layers.  My laptop is crap, so i can't use mods.  Isn't there a certain size room that you need to have before they spawn?

No protruding Redstone in the hallway, either.

Backside View. I put a LOT of Redstone into this.

This odd circuit activates the sticky pistons to push the blocks outwards. The bottom 2 pistons are controlled by a redstone torch/delay combo.
