So... is anyone looking forward to the 1.8 update? I can't wait to mess around in Creative Mode...

Btw heads up, I was looking at a few videos (acually a quick glance with no sound), and it looks like mobs will still spawn in Creative Mode. I've seen several of the regular animal mobs, but I think I caught a quick glance of two zombies when Notch switched it to night. If anyone's planning on doing a serious building project, I suggest changing the difficulty to Peaceful unless you want Creepers demolishing your hard work.

Don't take my word on this, though!

Have I been playing this game a bit too much?

Anyways, found two amazing texture packs that I love so much.

1000 A.D. - Space Station Llama exterior before Lavos

(click to show/hide)

2300 A.D. - Space Station Llama exterior after Lavos

Any opinions?

Your logic,

This is bad, it's not depressing enough.

So, lets start!

Wow, it's looking better already!

Just make sure that stone is brown and that dirt is a different shade of brown.

Grass will look better now!

So will trees!

This is texture pack is wonderful, the way the brown tones meet with the brown is perfect. I really do love that brownness.

Well, the texture pack is supposed to be dark and depressing, seeing as it's showing off Chrono Trigger's 2300 A.D.

It's good for custom maps, but I never use it on my own levels.

EDIT: Also, I'm not the creator of it, so

My Minecraft exploded.

I was adding the "Too Many Items" mod, cause I want to build some stuff, added everything I was supposed to, and got rid of that folder (begins with a M.) But whenever I start up Minecraft in the browser it loads...and black screen of nothing!

Does anyone know what happened?

Ok, this is what you do to install Too Many Items without any error:
-DL Mod Loader
-DL Too Many Items
-Copy everything from both .Zip's to the minecraft.jar file
-Open the .jar file
-Delete META-INF
-???????
-PROFIT

And it could have happened because the versions of the mods aren't the correct 1.7.3, if not, then idk what is wrong.

I might have forgotten Mod Loader...I'm going to check now.

Also, every time you want to add a mod, back up your minecraft.

You'll be sorry if you don't.

Or just delete the .bin folder and open Minecraft.exe
It'll redownload it.
