Somehow, I have been granted the power of ground piercing vision

We came up with a little something for a young lady's (under the alias "Pie") birthday we know on another forum. The plan was to quickly set up a surprise for her before she logged in to minecraft. First it was simply cake, but then I foolishly suggested we rig the music boxes up to play "happy birthday". It took HOURS, and Zeke had to kick Pie off on one occasion because it was taking so long. BUT we got there in the end...

THE QUEST BEGINS!, me hammy and zeke head off into the distance. Zeke leads us to a house we can use to set up the music blocks and cake (as there's not enough room in Pie's island).


However following Zeke always has it's consequences. We all got raped by zombies and creepers.


Hammy accepts his defeat and reminds us how serious this is.


After a RIDICULOUSLY long walk, we arrive at Zeke's shack! That he built himself! With no TNT!!!


We start making room for the music blocks, trashing Zeke's place in the progress. All kinds of creatures can be heard outside in the night.


I started wiring up the music blocks. At this point it sounds like a dead cat getting a cheese grater to the balls.


Hammy sets up some interesting decor for the house


Smooth joins the party! With his ear for music he tweaks the song to make it less dying cat sounding.


At long last we are ready. We wave Zeke farewell as he goes to Pie's spawn point and get her to log on.


Smooth doubts Zeke's abilities


Rest now, brave hero...


As we wait, zeke brings us bad news!


After about 20 minutes things start getting seriously worrying...


But eventually she logged in and made her way to the shack. Me, Hammy and Smooth hide downstairs clutching the sneak button.


Zeke gives the signal (shouts CUTMANNNN) and we play the song and jump out the hole like strippers coming out of a birthday cake.


Pie does not share the cake, because she's "dying"....


All is well... Except Zeke, who starts questioning reality


And here's a video of the song in motion. I couldn't capture the entire event sadly due to frap's horrific lag when playing this.

Wow, I never anyone would actually bother to make an actual song with the note blocks and redstone! I was thinking of making the bloody tears theme then realized... I had no idea how using redstone to time stuff :P

a little off topic, and you probably already knew this already but,
I know how to become immortal in minecraft!
all you gotta do is get INVedit.exe, give yourself diamond armor, and change the damage to -99999999. make it look like this:



once this is achieved, save it to world whatever, and you should be immortal.
