i recently started again on minecraft. after discovering the awesome map seeds
i'm building my new house on the "Glacier" map seed, because it's a beautiful area
the wolves are also the best addition to the game for ages, they make good pest control
AKA getting all those damn animals off of my porch

i dunno about you guys, but to me it seems like less monsters are spawning at nighttime.
which is kinda lame for the sake of harvesting bones and arrows. that and i kind of like to watch the creatures at night when i'm in my house.

i'll upload screenies of my new house soon!
it's my first house that isn't a cave or a big ugly square with windows

it's a big ugly square with a roof!

Recently I've been messing around with the Too Many Items mod.
God does it make building stuff for fun easy.

Make a bed and right click it when it gets dark.
Dont know if you can make it permanently day by server editing though.
