I did just tested that and it makes weird using it on a riding mob.

I've barely even played 1.5. I kinda stopped playing around then 'cause of all the mods I'd been waiting to update so I could play my world without crashing.

If it doesn't crash, weird things happen. First thing that tipped me off that something was wrong was my map being blank.
Then when I got back to my village, there was a zombie invasion. That stuff never happens around there, because the Iron Golems generally do a good job in keeping the monster count down.

They were standing completely motionless as the zombies walked on by and infected the villagers.
(though there was one villager who was running around at super speed. No zombie could catch him.)

After I defeated all the zombies and woke up the golems, (who still didn't help kill them off) I went back home to find the icing on the cake.

The new Zombie functionality is ridiculous. Being able to be seen from 40 blocks away and the ability to summon more makes them overwhelming in most situations.

Horses are a lot of fun to ride, but getting saddles, armor, and so forth is a bit of a pain in the ass.

So apparently you can pull around horses on a lead while someone else rides the horse.

I know this because on the 1.6.1 server, my horse was pulled into lava while I was on it and Thunder still claims I purposely rode the horse in.

Horses in multiplayer are EVIL.  They just lag around into death pits.  Llama has a huge hole in front of his house my horse ran into and everyone died.

I find that the new Zombie functionality is only annoying when there are lots of Zombies there to begin with.


For example, I was mining earlier today and 3 Zombies came up. I defeated them, but they just summoned more, about 2.5 for every 3 Zombies. So, after I finally defeated them all, I had around 45 Rotten Flesh.  


And yeah, Saddles and Horse Armour are a pain to get (but you can find lots of them in Nether Fortresses).

That happens to me too today when i was on a villages many zombies attacked it and i let two villages died
i almost died then and when i was looking for a saddle in the Caves some zombies came and attacked me and then came more and more and then i died,

I can't saddle in the nether fortress for is too hard to find them i gotta need a minimap mod to find some more.

They use regular saddles now. Also, anyone here used carpets for a prank?
