Problem with Settings

Since I downloaded skins into my 8BDM folder, I've noticed that the game resets my settings every time I pull it up. I have to open 8BDM from the actual folder instead of the Downloads section on my computer since Skulltag has to be in the same folder. What would you recommend I do so I don't have to configure my controls and settings every time?

Redownload. You might have deleted something like the .ini or such.
