Explanation on why we need the controls.First, the most important. SR50 is pretty easy to trigger in Skulltag, all you need to do is hold down "R" and move forward/backward and either hold A or D (In this case) but I recommend you to move the mouse to the left or right. Because it's easier, and you can change the SR50 direction easier and faster, while you're still ready to scream in their face. Then, comes the (WASD/WSAD) controls, why do we need them? Well, because they're very good at just this combination of controls. And because they're close to our "most important movement" button. Then there are the mouse controls. Well, you need them at such a high speed to turn around quickly. Which could be guessed, and you need it to change the SR50 direction faster. Oh, and did I mention that you can fly up and down while in SR50 ? Well, it's easy. Just move your mouse up or down, and you'll be good to go! And don't you worry about changing direction while doing it, SR50 forces you to hold the direction. And if you have to change directions a lot of times, use normal strafing (SR40) instead of SR50, which is for direct chasing/escaping.
If enemy is strafing forward |Then you should move at a sideways angle, but still to the point where the enemy is moving to. In this case it's this one /This way, you'll come to the destination faster than your prey. And that, can only be dodged by changing direction, but that won't help for long, you'll only cross the path again.
The timing for the reflect depends on class but dodging is always the same thing, but in different directions and patterns. But since I suck so horribly at explaining, I'll explain it in another manner. Marines: When they turn around, you should look up and strafe to either the left or right. Or reflect the attack if "he" throws a grenade back. Or if there are more players around, because they'll send you to oblivion. And that's not what we want!Hunters: Again, when they turn around you must react. But this time, it's smarter to reflect, because you might as well send their arrows back into their faces. Which is just what we want, right?Cyborgs: These guys are nasty, I recommend you to be flying up high and dodge a lot. and when you can't dodge, reflect. Thus sending back plasma into every direction in front of you. Cyborgs love to spam. And that's the thing that forces "us" to dodge their shots when possible. Another trick is to dodge like there's no tomorrow until they run out of ammo, then charge and make them explode. ;DGho(ul)st busters: These guys are the easiest, I just recommend tricky dodging at a decent height so that they'll spray their beam. Thus drawing them very vulnerable. And that means that we can charge and scream at them without problems. But don't even try straight-forward charging these guys! Their beam might be weak, but in the big numbers. You'll get fried in a second.Tip: If marines, cyborg or ghost busters are just running away, catch up with them with SR50 because not many know the trick. And crossing their path draws you even faster. :D
A effective and yet easy to control dodging pattern would be one where you keep looking DOWN and turn a lot while strafing like mad. But still lurking for a moment to attack.
Strangely enough I was already writing a guide on Sjas, but it was a bit more in-depth than this. There's alot of factors to Sjas than just what type of techniques and situations present. To be an effective Sjas you would need to know how to move in every direction at an efficient speed.

And here's me thinking it was just "You can fly, get as close as possible and kill stuff"
In my opinion, repelling would only save you like once in a regular battlefield. It's useful though for those situations where your teammates screw you over Also hi Mobius
All I have is Mouse 4 as Fly Up and Mouse 5 as Fly Down. I fly really fast, sometimes even catching hunters, but my ping is fail. I only really reflect if I'm bored or theres a corridor with Hunter or Cyborg.
