Wow, thanks for the review. Our team appreciates it. Only thing I would like to say is that you missed a new virus that was made (inside VendingMachineComp), but it's kind of hidden, so, it's forgivable.

But, yes, we've made quite a few people happy with the game's accuracy. After all, they need to feel like they're playing a BN game. *thumbs up*

I see you're spreading news of this amazing game across the interwebs, not just Interordi lol.

Yep, if we get the word out this game, we might find people willing to work for us which means this game gets done faster. And it's always good to expand one's fanbase.

I played this game, and it was just like the old days. You guys have done a great job.

EDIT: I don't know if this has been mentioned, but someone should jack into the statue outside Scilab....

Oh, look, another update from the Chrono X team!

What does this mean? Well, if you haven't guessed, then it means demo 4 will feature customizable controls! That's right! We found a way that doesn't take a whole lot of time to implement.

A few things to note, though.

First, you would have to set these controls BEFORE running the game. This is because the game would load your control scheme before starting it up. If the game doesn't detect this file for some reason, then the controls will default to the usual (Z,X,A,S, Enter, Backspace, and the arrow keys).

Second, do you remember that the in-game text says things like: "Press the Z button!"? Well, that dialogue WON'T be changed. This is so we don't overload the game's memory, and it would also cut down on development time. Hope this won't be a problem.

You could always say

"Press the A Button!"

And hope people know what you're talking about.

Edit: Ah, I see what you mean.  That would provide consistency when you're looking at the control customization option. But yeah, you'd only see the dialogue through the GBA interpretation, not the controls you set.

I suppose I could give my thoughts.

The amp defusing section looked fairly difficult, almost greater than the ShipComps and The AquarumComps of BN5 and BN6, respectively. I of course haven't tried it out, though, so looks may be deceiving.

I'm very happy to see the MEMento system looking like that, especially with what appears to resemble a QuickCross and a FreezeCross. Could there be a potential chance of seeing some BN3 navis in the MEMento system?

My opinion on the FreezeMemento:

The charge shot may need a buff. I'm not too sure about that, either, it just seemed like it wasn't fighting too well against even Mettaurs. The Freeze shield seems to last for way too long, even if you only take 1 damage during that timeframe.

QuickMemento looks really fun from what I've seen.

DarkMega seems like a fun fight. I like the new boss music, although I'm not sure if it matches the style of previous Battle Network Boss songs.

Overall, I'm rather impressed. Keep up the good work.

EDIT: Forgot to mention CactusMan.

He's looking really nice! PirateMan looks nice too, but I'm really happy to see CactusMan's design.

Each Memento has its own theme and playstyle. Freeze Memento is planned to be more defensive. Plus, the presentation doesn't cover every nuance that Freeze Memento has because of the limited time we had to put it together, and rehearse. So, there are little quirks outside of what you saw to make it more flexible.

The boss theme you heard was a DarkMega exclusive. We're re-doing the boss theme we have now, and the theme you heard for DarkMega will play during his fight.

In cooperation with us, EXE Net Center is hosting a contest!(February 14th-14th March 2012)!

Design your own NetNavi (and NetOp, if you want) for the RockMan.EXE universe. You'll need to detail their attacks, defenses, HP, appearance, and what their chip would do. You are free to redesign a Robot Master from the original series if you so choose, but make it unique! You are permitted to draw as many Navis as you wish.

The only physical prize is a copy of the MegaMan Battle Network Official Complete Works art book (the winner to be decided by EXE Net Center's staff).

More than that, if one of the designs will be good enough, there's chance it will be featured in our fangame!
Whether to award this prize and to whom it would go will be entirely up to the MegaDudes staff (us). To be considered for immortalization in the game, your entry must contain designs for both a NetNavi and NetOp. Original submissions will all be considered, but it would be nice to see a design for the old Robot Master GeminiMan, so that's an option too(just DON'T spam the contest with entires with GeminiMan only!)

Send all entries to exenetmail@gmail.com after February 14th, 2012 and before March 14th, 2012!!

That's all for today, good luck!

I see the phrases "DESIGN your own NetNavi" and "DETAIL their appearance", yet I also read "DRAW as many Navis as you wish". Do you have to submit artwork in order to be considered for the contest?

Technically speaking, you don't HAVE to. But, I will say that a piece of artwork can only aid your contest entry.

For those of you who were checking out Facebook, we have revealed Project Iceberg!

That's right! "Project Iceberg" has been revealed! What is Project Iceberg? It refers to a part of our game that will extend your playtime of Demo 4 and the full game by an extremely high amount. It will allow you to interact with the Chrono X community on another level! Ladies and gentlemen, I bring to you: a built-in Chrono X online mode!

Yes, this is real, folks. And at the botton of that picture, you can see screenshots related to the main part of the 4th demo. Lookin' nice, eh? If you haven't signed up on the forums yet, by all means do so. Stay tuned for more updates.
