Roll Players - God-Tier?

What's your take on the players who use Roll in the game?
It's apparent that most Roll players are good, but then, we all have our flaws.

To me, I think Roll players should be good, but then there's people who just use it as a skin, like Bass used to be. It's just a moment of "Hey it's a Roll, kill it fast or stay away!"

Being a Roll myself, I cannot say I'm bad nor super great.. But I do get work done!

I say Rolls are the one who know how to go in the most annoying spot so that you really can't die in roboenza.

Most Rolls(Celebi, Rose, Ashley) are awesome.

Then there are people like me who just switch to every skin in the game during one round, so we end up using Roll at least once.

I can't really deny that most of the people who play as Roll are pretty good at the game. It kind of bugs me how people always assume that anyone they see playing as Roll is super great.

I don't think Roll players have to be good. I don't think any kind of player has to be good. They should pick whatever skin they want, regardless of their skill.



Roll is probably the skin I use the most often. Whether I'm good or bad at the game is not for me to say, but I am often flattered.

The people who are good happen to play Roll, that's all.
Just because you play Roll does not mean you're good. Besides, she's the only official female character at the moment anyway, soo.

The few Roll's I've seen who weren't particularly great either changed their skin/name, or just stopped appearing to me in-game.

I'd say the top 5 Roll's I know are.. (No order specifics)

Then there's some others who may be good, but we're about the only few who use Roll anymore.

I normally use the Masked Man skin or the Hakumen Sword skin. Someone with a sword.

I'm not 1337 at it, but I'm not horrible either. Somewhere a little less than decent, I'd say.

I can't figure out where da hell most of the exploit spots are, and if I do figure them out, I can't get to them in time.

As for Deathmatch, I can never find the right weapon for the right situation, unless I have Knight Crush. If you see me with Knight Crush, best you stay away!

Using a specific skin doesn't mean anything. I tend to bounce to whatever skin i'm in the mood for, including Roll on an occasion.

I might of been the one who started this but I have no idea.

I, having played Skulltag since late 2007, of course I'm going to be good at the game. I knew I would win all the time.

I first used the Roll skin because she isn't a battle robot at all.
 I knew most of the new players would never pick her. They would pick their favourite robot master like Bass or something.
 She is such a different skin being female so she is far more recognisable. Therefore kills you receive from her stay in your brain for longer and not just that. It also makes you think you are being beaten by a girl.


I just like Roll fucking up everyone's shit basically.

Most Roll players I've seen I usually tend to get along with okay, but they also always own me to hell and back. I haven't once seen a person fail as Roll. So yeah. Then again, I'm almost always at Deathwinds servers, so maybe I just don't see the other Roll's out there very often.

I just play as Roll because I like her...that is until a Celebi skin is made, then I will use both often.  
Its just a skin, don't make a big deal on it.

That annoys me as well when a "good" Roll player is mentioned. It matters not what skin is used. Then again, I get attention myself in the form of "get that fox" or "must kill that fox". lol
