...then maybe we need the Roll who gets up on the table and spikes the punch bowl.

While everyone watches her do it, and she laughs.

I volunteer!

This is rather silly in my opinion. It's just a skin. That some player the community dub as good/best happen to use. If you get a bunch of bad players to use Roll as well. This whole argument would become void.

Course I wouldn't know about it. I enjoy making mapping and editing more then actually playing it. So to heck of me knowing skin trend usage.

Ivory, this is exactly what I was trying to establish in my post a few minutes ago. Since we only have decent players playing as Roll at the moment, we need a bunch of random bad players like me and everyone else who is interested in just dicking around to screw with the theorem we've apparently created. Afterwards, the argument will be null, and we can just go back to having fun and not have this idea around anymore.

Ashley can't do this because she's not Rad Chad, while I myself happen to be Rad Chad, to the max.

Also I like comparing this topic to Mario Kart, because it's absolutely unnecessary. People choose Funky Kong because of an utterly minuscule stat boost he has(?), and because of that, everyone who can be considered a Mario Kart pro just ends up using him. Apparently he has a boost rating of 4 while others have 3 or something, I dunno, it's all retarded stat stuff. The same thing can be said here. Maybe Roll has a land running speed of 4 that I'm unaware of as well, while Knight Roll and OVA Roll only have a land running speed of 3?!

I'm entirely for fun, and I never claimed Roll was only for the good players.
I'm just saying it seems that way as of the time of these posts.

The trend will die out soon enough. Everyone knows that.

I don't really care of this opinion, I just wanted to know what the community thought of it. (Somehow it turned into ARGUMENTS. Sadface.gif)

Most people just use it to annoy other people.

And it never gets old to make rape jokes about hardman chasing/touching people in roboenza, heh. Ah, good times, people would sooner suicide (as an joke of sorts) when they had no place to run from a infected hardman, then get touched.

Hi, I'm just dicking around here, really. I was never trying to start an argument myself. I'm just screwing around with this topic is all. Thing is, there's some obvious truth. The only time I've seen people use Roll is when the person playing as Roll has been someone of decent skill. It's not often you see someone poor playing as Roll, except that one time you called me out for using Roll yesterday, but that was all in good fun.

And of course, this is all the same as the Bass trend established earlier in the topic. The game's only been officially released for 3 months or so now, so we'll obviously see some trend changes eventually.

Wha? I used Joe, who I like a lot more.
I never said I liked Bass. I actually dislike him a lot. typical emo/"bad" antihero. bleh.
He's just the skin that everyone used, is all.
That's because people still like Shadow the Hedgehog for some fucked up reason.
Obvious troll is obvious.

Trolling, because, why not? It's a silly topic, and I needed to piss some time away.

Though I AM also a professional moron, I don't see anything beneficial in fostering a fervor towards pixels.

What do you mean by using it as a skin like Bass used to be?
Sigh, post-demo players.

Bass was the "cool" player during the demo. Bass, Mega, Proto, Roll, and Joe were the only skins able to be used.

I played the demo shortly before The first version came out.
I just didn't know what Ashley meant.
Don't be a dink.

Follow-up, serious post:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confirmation_bias

This is really all that's going on. You don't really remember the non-unique robot masters who kill you and that you kill but when you see a roll killing things, it's unique and looks neat. Of course, there's certainly no doubting that folks like Celebi bring down the house.

How does using Roll make you a better player? I don't get it. And why should people using Roll be better players?

*dodges rocks and boulders that an angry mob threw at her*
Ca-hem.

Roll players =/= God-Tier. But most good players use Roll, for god knows why.

It's because all good players are secretly little girls, like Roll!
