Finally done with my entry, I just need to play around with it and balance it out. I'm not that happy with the outcome but it's worth a try I guess.

I only see four colors...
Oh, 5th is transparent...

But doesn't background/menu sprites allow a 5th color? (At least in MM5, I think)
Also, sprites can only have 4 colors (counting transparent) per 8x8 tile.

Wrong there, DTD.

Megaman had 6 colors in his sprite.

Black, white, skin-color, cyan, blue, and transparent. Therefore sprites can have 5 or even 6 colors.

Megaman's entire face is on a completely different layer, and also a completely different sprite.

Wrong you are. His face was another layer, sepparated from his body and helmet. You can check this in any reliable NES emulator. You'll find some tiles with Megaman's face.

And the item icons falls under the "background" rule, which allowed all four colors to be used because the transparent didn't exist (or so I remember).

Oh enough you lot. DTD wasn't being serious. I'm pretty sure 90% of the sprites in MM8BDM aren't the right color or have too many colors etc.

I can't get BounceType to work as described here http://zdoom.org/wiki/Actor_properties# ... Physics.27

I just get
"bouncetype" is an unknown actor property

Ah, was lurking around in forums, and this competition make me register here :mrgreen:
Too bad that I am too late again. Not sure if I can done my job seriously well, and, worse, not sure if my spriter can. Oh well. Will do it anyway.
