"bouncetype" is an unknown actor property

Some functions haven't been ported over to Skulltag yet. It used to be fairly obvious on the Wiki but now things have updated and it's harder to tell. For now you'll have to go with the bounce flags such as DOOMBOUNCE, HEXENBOUNCE and HERETICBOUNCE.

Hmm, can't find anything that would have projectiles bounce off the floor but explode when hitting walls.

I've been wanting to try out this contest for a while now, but I was sick for the past few days.

So now I only have 3 days to

1) Learn how to make weapons

2) Think of a good fire weapon

3) Make said fire weapon.

Did it all in 6 hours. Already had my mind set, asked if it would be acceptable, worked on it. Oh, and in the days that followed I've improved it and updated my entry. Once this contest is over I'll work on a Boktai Weapon Pack.

Good for you. This is my first time ever working with weapons, and I'm having a hard time!


I already have an idea for what my weapon is going to be: The Flame Shield from Sonic the Hedgehog 3. I thought it'd be interesting.
But this weapon making stuff is complicated! Not sure if I can take it..

Combine Charge Kick and Star Crash's mechanics.

It is not THAT hard, and Gun Del Sol was the FIRST thing I EVER made in Decorate. Actually, this is the first elaborated programming I ever did!

If I can get this thing to turn its "shield" off after you attack, then its probably ready.

How do I make the shield turn off? I'm a little stumped right now.

Well, after some offline and online testing I realized my weapon isn't very responsive in comparison to the official weapons and I'll have to recode part of it AND redo the HUD sprites into something more coherent. I honestly don't think I'll finish it the way I want to in 3 days so I'll probably have to sit this one out, but we will see.

Kapus, method to turn the shield off depends on how it is actually spawned to the game world. If you took Leaf Shield as example, just give an inventory item to the player when the shield is activating. An item whitch does nothing and players are unaware of it. When you fire, check for that item and go in a state when you disable shield and take the said item. Look closely through Leaf Shield coding if you do not really understand what I am talking about.
