Dr. is short for Doctor. You need a Phd or Doctorates to become a Doctor.
I know you were being sarcastic, lol.

With Dr. Light/Right, it sounds like a very good-guy name (doing what's right, fight for the light). He should never trust a Dr. whose surname is "Wily" right? lol.

Maybe Rainslikesnow didn't know what wily meant?

Although having a name like Dr. Wily is like being called Dr. Sly or even Dr. Evil. Suspicious bad-guy name.
