YES! I FINALLY MADE MY FIRST SKIN! it was a hell to get the pallete to work, but I did! And here it is: Megaman Juno in his first form glory from Megaman Legends and Namco X Capcom.

Megaman Juno (Please, add the "icon" to the Wiki entry in User Skins. I dunno why it is not letting me add on my own.)

It was a hell to make him, but I liked the outcome.

Sadly, forgot the screens... But they'll be up soon!
Screens gone up!

First form isn't too big... No more than one megaman and a half.

Thanks! ^^; Took long to make, because I had to make each part, adjust them to rotation and try a lot of combinations...

As for Megaman Legends.... Be ready, 'cause its control is a pain in there.

There appears to be an odd error with this skin. Whenever I start skulltag it says something like:

"Skin Helmetless Mega Man is too big! Offending sprite: HZNAA1" or something like that.

I'll try and take a screenshot later. This only happened after I downloaded your skin.

It seems to happen to the skin that comes before or after the HNK one... I dunno on how to remedy this... :S

Found the problem:

You didn't put the sprites in the sprites folder lump. So what happens is for whatever reason, skulltag thinks you're trying to replace the default skin of the mega man class with your sprites. Which then triggers a check to make sure the skin is not larger than the current base skin. Since these sprites are larger than mega man's, it triggers the error and "downsizes" them. That's what I could figure out at least.

Yes, I did what you suggested and it worked without the errors now.
But I guess it pushes the error into the file that follows it

Hey guys, Kazufox here.  I've been having troubles running it too, every time I try to put in the Kenshiro skin either by putting it in a 'skins' folder or by 'add file' to the startup, I just get booted out from skulltag.  It runs for a few seconds then changes back to my desktop.  Any ideas on this one since other people have been having trouble uploading this to their game?

Maybe it has something to do with the three attack states.

I see you! :D

The skin sprites have the following limitations:
1: must be at least 6 characters long or up to 8 characters long (extension excluded)
2: must follow the XXXX%# or XXXX%#%# schematic, where X corresponds to the name the sprite has, % to the animation frame and # the direction.
3: The frames used for a normal skin here are:
 *A - Standing
 *BCDE - Walking cycle
*FG - Shooting frame (for charging weapons, they are (F) Charge and (G) Shoot)
 *H - Hurt or Dead
4: The directions are:
*0 - Absolute. No matter the direction you look from, the sprite will be the same.
 *1 - Front view.
 *2 - Front-Left view.
 *3 - Left view.
 *4 - Back-Left view.
 *5 - Back view.
 *6 - Back-Right view.
 *7 - Right view.
 *8 - Front-Right view.
It is possible to expand to more view directions, but it sure is boring to.
5: All sprites must be in a "sprites" folder within the skin wad/pk3 (learned this the hard way)

Mirroring: Mirroring follows the pattern XXXX%#%#. the Second "%#" will indicate that it is a mirror of the first. Example:
KENSA7A3

This means that the sprite that would be for KENSA3 will be the same as KENSA7, but mirrored horizontally.

Hope that helped you buddy, and be welcome to our community.
