So the power was knocked out for five days. I'm sure some of you heard about it, over 200 dead, hundreds of homes destroyed, power out for a week or more for some [fortunately not me]. It allegedly made national news, but i wouldn't know.

Anyway, it's why I haven't posted for a while- I couldn't! And the moment it comes back on I hear of Osama Bin laden killed? Gee what else did I miss?

Yeah, that blackout got pretty nasty. Donugee and I started arguing a lot those last couple of days...

Anyway, I haven't really been playing Deathmatch much lately. I'm attempting a Nuzlocke challenge of Emerald and I've been playing that around the time I usually play Deathmatch.

It's pretty fun so far! I mean I'm just in Rustboro City and I've already had a couple of close calls, but at least I haven't lost anyone yet...

Nuzlocke is a way to play pokemon. Basically it's rules like. If a pokemon is KOed, you have to release it. No pokemon center. You can only catch the first pokemon you see on a route, etc.

Wait, I'm pretty sure the Pokemon Center thing is one of the optional rules, right?

I'm just using the core rules this time, which are:

-Any Pokemon that faints is considered dead, and must be released.
   
-The player may only catch the first Pokemon encountered in each area, and none else. If the first Pokémon encountered faints or flees, there are no second chances.

But you can add extra rules if you want, such as the Pokemon Center thing or perhaps no Potions or not letting your Pokemon evolve.

Y'know that just sounds like it makes the game unbearably difficult like trying to play Hard Mode as Protoman in MM10 buster only with no Tanks or Charge shots

I've heard from a little birdie that you can catch shinies even if it's on a route you caught a Pokemon on already.
