Ok, I'm a newbie at this game, and I need some help. Is there a way to save the skins I download onto MM8BDM without using the save on the menu, because when I try to, it says 'You need to be playing a game to save', then when I go into Dr Light's Lab to save, it says you can't save when you have bots active.

Saving does not work in MM8BDM. The game Auto-Saves after every chapter though.

Thanks. I have another question though. I was looking on Doomseeker, and some of the other online games needed something called DM_DW_V1.pk3 to play. Do you know where I could get it?

What are you people talking about? Im so lost. To save a skin, just make a folder named 'skins' and place the wad/pk3 there. Then theres a link to a map pack what is this i dont even.

ficarra i hope your not suggesting putting maps in the skin folder, it should just be purely skins and yes it will shadow

Music packs also work in the skins folder.

You can fine them here if you browse around.

The announcer folder is even more of a don't put anything in there that isn't an announcer than  the skins folder is for skins!

I assume you misunderstood. Fixed so it makes better sense.

Yes, just download a skin, navigate to your MM8BDM folder, create a folder named 'skins' if it isn't there already, and put the skin wads/pk3s in there. Then, in-game, hit escape, multiplayer, player setup, and select the skin you want.
