Edit: nevermind ivory was cool with it but I say stick to 8-10 weapons thread for less clutter and don't release them

I'm doing these because I get bored of making maps and enemies for my other projects. (And weapons for other things..)

Nobody told ME I couldn't make and release these weapons. Mike even encourages these.

It's not a crime to release weapons to the public, either. It's more of an improvement to see what needs work. Like SSW's post here...

concrete shots should probably stack on top of each other and stick to walls though. also, their firing rate is quite low given their power (or lack thereof)

in MM9 it was quite a versatile weapon... I noticed it had a freeze/ translation effect on enemies. That might be interesting to put in in some way, even if it just does the translation

Stacking on top of each other doesn't seem to work for me, even though each shot is solid and has a radius that would allow them to...

As for sticking on walls, I can do that.

But any weapon that doesn't have a shine on the buster bugs me. A lot.

But why does it bug you? A lot of weapons have no shine on their buster.. Though it's made to look that way.

If it really bugs you THAT much I can change them .-.

The colors feel a little more dull if there is no shine. I like polish.

It was agreed somewhere in the thread NOT to released them to avoid another early release problem *cough cough* SKINS!!

By the way. I'm assuming we're not to post the weapons. Since we don't want them getting out to the public if they are going to be for the official expansions.

I have no interest in the later expansions (yet) so there's no harm in posting them. If people make them how they think they should be made, it doesn't mean those versions will make it into the official build. I am happy for people to try though, especially if it halves the work for me!

I don't mind if people release them. I won't be releasing mine.

Actually. They can be released. Just because they were made, doesn't necessarily mean they are what CutmanMike wants. He said he would use the weapons if he liked them.

With that being said, I used Triple Blade because it's an awesome weapon and Korby was awesome about it.

"Taking" isn't a word you should use.

I'm doing all the weapons I feel like doing.. Though I need to figure out some of the others before doing more MM10 weapons.

It's less that, and it's more the way you treated it. I said I'd let you do concrete shot instead. Regardless, I didn't even hear anything remotely similar to a thank you, I get the opposite.

Attitude is important. You will alienate others if you treat them this way.

Ivory let you make a weapon he was going to make. That's his choice, which is enough reason to thank him.

That's still not a good reason for me to thank him.

There's no specific rule saying only one person can make that weapon, and if someone claims the job to do it, then somebody else does it first, it's mandatory to thank them for doing it before them.

Being silly?  You flat out said you were aware of the other topic, and did it anyways.  That list was there so people would deliberately avoid doing just that.  A "sorry for breaking the rules of that topic/stealing the job you signed up for" would have been nice, but no, instead you're just being a jackass about it.

its an issue of respect and copyright, if someones to claims something and another person does it thats a copyright problem, andif they are rude like you and just does it without asking or thanking its an issue of respect, and to finish up this dump i ask that this be locked for 1: we have a thread about 8-10 weapons 2: violates copyright 3: R-E-S-P-E-C-T, find out what it means to cutstuff!
