My main is none other than Ronald "Wolf" McDonald. My secondaries are Lucas, Lucario, and Bowser.

I tried the other Star Fox characters, but neither of them seem to have quite the punch I like for me to use them effectively. Additionally, only Wolf's blaster can consistently stop forward ground approaches, because only has the vertical height needed anyone, even a ducking Kirby, only a level surface. Unfortunately, Wolf is quite disappointing in the recovery department (as are Fox and Falco, but Wolf moreso), and his aerials leave a tad to be desired (although his back aerial is killer, it comes out almost instantly with three large hitboxes.)

Wolf also has one of the most satisfying Meteor Smashes in the game, with a small sweetspot at the end of side special. Mastering that move is a challenge.

I love trolling my little brother with that meteor smash. I usually pull it off about 25% of the time I use it.

Anywhoo, I've recently gotten quite good with pit. I try not to spam arrows, but I love his air combos. I can just juggle people for long periods of time, and if I knock them out of reach, I can skewer them with curving arrows.

PLAN 2

YER ALIVE

... Oh, I've been playing quite a bit of Melee recently. I'm not going to get into anything messy, but I can see why people prefer one game over the other. Melee just feels "heavier" and more fast-paced, while Brawl is about chaining your attacks together to create amazing multi-hit combos and super juggles. Personally I don't have a favorite between the two. I appreciate the differences in both titles and I end up having a fun time either way, so it never really bothers me that much.

Also, slipping was a bad idea. I mean, it works for Bananas and icy terrain, but random slipping? Come on.

I can hardly go back to Melee after so much time with Brawl. I tend to run off platforms a lot in Melee nowadays. Although, Marth is my main in Melee, and we all know how notorious he is for wavedashing.

My Melee disc is too scratched up to work.

But Brawl is an awesome game. My main characters are Link and Mario. Especially Link. I like to play as quite a few other characters, and try to spread out a bit so I don't overuse any.

One of the best things ever, is fighting in a somewhat enclosed area, (or rather, a custom stage with huge walls on each side of a flat ground battlefield,) and putting only soccerballs, blast boxes, and any kind of containers on. (Smash Balls and the Dragoon as well) Those battles can be so hectic, so dangerous, yet so amazingly awesome. And also very unpredictable...

My 2 favourite characters are Yoshi (obviously) and Lucario. Other characters such as Meta Knight and Mario don't come far either. Then again I'm fine with most characters, as they're all balanced I guess.

At first Lucario was a bit hard to use. He took a bit of time to get used to. After that he became a really good character. I also know his secret of getting more powerful when he takes more damage

That's no secret ur supposed to know u can test that by goin to training setting the CPU to lucario put him as a human and put him and 999 damage

Btw he's my favourite character cuz of his force palm (at least that's what I call it) And his Down B (on gamecube)Which he counters any attack made against him
Over all lucario is strong in his B attacks but his smash don't really launch.

I actually got Brawl on launch day.

My favorite characters are Kirby and Pikachu. In fact, they've been my favorite since I first played Melee.

You know Lucario's "getting stronger with damage" was something the game literally tries to shove in your face, right?

If you ever bothered to play the mission mode, there's one mission with Lucario that sets you to "lethal damage" just so you can "use the power of Aura". They basically tell you right there that "yes, Lucario can rape your face if he's injured enough".

also Story Mode cutscene kthx

Ugh, I don't play pokemon and it wasn't exactly clear to me until I saw "He is the only character that gets stronger as he takes more damage" written down. I didn't originally experiment with every character enough (including lucario) to realize it.

Also I've heard that one of the titles for the next smash brothers might be called something like Universe, which sounds lame compared to Melee and Brawl. What about something like Strife? I've seen that written down somewhere for some reason. Wasn't on anything official at all though.

It's because Strife is a Doom mod.

It'd be like calling it "Smash Bros. Hexen".

Why not "Smash Bros. Fisticuffs"?

Strife is not a Doom Mod. It's a commercial game built off a modified doom engine.
