Am I the only one okay with the Villager being a playable character?
No, as someone who enjoys Animal Crossing, I liked the idea of him coming in.
On top of that, after seeing some in depth gameplay, he seems pretty fun to use overall. I especially like the idea of being able to pick up projectiles (even Samus' fully charged shots) and chucking them back at people.

The three newcomers shown seem to have some really interesting movesets and play styles. I'm liking this.

it's like if Game & Watch was fun to play hyuk hyuk hyuk

My sister suggested that catching a projectile and never throwing anything for the whole match should transfer said projectile to your Animal Crossing: New Leaf save file. While highly unlikely, I can just sort of imagine the sorts of conversations being held with such a feature:

"Whoa! That's a sweet black trout you got! Mind trading it with me for my Bowser Fire?"

My favorite part is how the Mega Buster is a standard A-Button attack instead of a special. Having a character that's nearly devoid of melee attacks seems extremely interesting and fresh, and finally wards off the trolls insisting Mega's going to play similarly to Samus.

I'm still hoping for Auto Bazooka as a Final Smash though! :ugeek:

.. So, uh..

Best non-anime-styled design for Megaman.

And the artstyle is yes.. Even though not much changed.

OH BOY VILLAGER FINAL SMASH ASSUMPTION TIME. THROW EVERYTHING THAT COMES FROM INSIDE THE MUSEUM THAT ISN'T AN OWL.

This never made sense in the first place.

Speaking of final smashes, I'm guessing that Mega Man's will be Super Adaptor.

YES.
Now if only we had a defined move-set for Megaman...
We could use some interesting assist trophies (Too many distracting ones in brawl)

Going to note that, when Smash 4 was announced last year, Namco Bandai was going to be a co-producer. That means that, not entirely guarenteed, they might put in a character from the Taes series as a newcomer. Although most of the Tales games were outside of any Nintendo system and if they were to put a character in, then it highly expected to be from Symphonia (although Symphonia was made before Namco merged with Bandai). Either Lloyd which seems the most likely, or Emil from the "meh" sequal.

Or possibly one from Abyss.

Don't forget Graces. That was on a Nintendo console too.

I kind of feel like the Robot Masters could appear in the adventure mode (if it's similar to Brawl's) as uncommon enemies.

I definitely want to see some HD Wilybrows though. I can easily see Wily appearing as one of the antagonists of the adventure mode. Put him in his iconic UFO!

I can't see Robot Masters as stage enemies, really.
