Well, I'm not going to use my 3DS for awhile, since I'm going to trade it for the 3DS XL when it comes out. Then again, I will MOST LIKELY not get it until my birthday (November 1st).

Eh... I understand the criticism behind the 3d effects... It's not at all like a 3d movie. Instead, it adds a highly enhanced feeling of DEPTH to the graphics. In kid icarus uprising, pit pops out barely, but it looks like i'm looking into a box. The feeling of distance from the screen's camera just seems a lot more realistic (also if you just put the 3d setting on max it'll be blurry as sh**)
