Oh please, i have already seen so many April Fools jokes already on the internet. If it is a joke, then they will say "Lol Idiots, Its not canceled" on April 1st. I cant really tell if it is or not so I don't know.

If there EVER is a Mega Man 2 Powered Up (That's how I arrange the pieces, deal with it) , I won't be happy unless there's a WiiWare version.

Hmmm. Okay...
I could sometimes think that Capcom wanted to make Megaman Universe to annoy some classic Megaman/Rockman fans. They probably tried to confuse their minds, make them actually want to play it, and yet worst of all cancel it at the time they promised to release it at. But, that does sound like something they won't do.
Surely it was a game to grab some fans' interest. But I can find it understandable for them to cancel it.

It won't work. Since they got the first one for the PSP, and the Wii is really limited with memory when it comes with Stage Building and stuff.

Well, there is other reasons to cancel the game. But really, looking at what Capcom and Japan itself went through. I could see the reasons.

I really doubt that the wii would have that much trouble with a stage builder for a 2d platformer. I am well aware of the wii's memory limits, but geez SD cards aren't that expensive.

as for the whole first one being on a different system issue, I doubt that will matter as many games skip or change systems over time. X3 to X4, Rocket knight adventures to Sparkster, ect.

There's always still ROM hacking.
At least with that you get ASM editing too.
